Scratchbuilding is definitely the way to go. You've got some very nice structures for sure! I prefer eastern white cedar for my model bases. So far, no warping, shrinking or deformation after 2.5 years. Keep the vids coming
I've viewed this video in reverse order.. started with your latest three and worked back. I'm impressed with the results you achieved on your finished buildings. I'm guessing, but I suspect that your buildings are based on scaled down versions of actual buildings. Nice work.
Really glad you viewed the actual progress, yes my scratch built buildings are based on an industrial area nearcme serviced by rail, the area is run down, with loads of details 😀
Awesome model building! You won't regret the plywood sub-structure when you build like that. Thanks for sharing! Cheers ~ Boomer.😁
Thank you very much, like yourself I love scratch building everything

Thats good to know, ya it's the only way to build stuff.
Excellent work! Nice details again! 👍
Thanks again!

Amazing build.
Glad you think so!
A longer video on how you built this would be cool. Inspired by Boomer?
Me and Boomer diorama have worked in the same creative industry, so many of the stuff on his channel I have done in my career
Awesome work! How thick is your plywood sub-structure?
Quarter of an inch , pine, easy to cut, make sure you coat any wood with clear verithan so glue will attach forever, solid
Thank you my friend much appreciated, like yourself I love scratch building there is no better feeling
