BEWARE THE SIDUS LINK APP. I love my Amaran lights, but I put the Sidus Link app on an old phone that I don't use. The reason I did this is because I actually read the PRIVACY AGREEMENT. The User Agreement says they don't sell your information. The Privacy Agreement says they will give away your information for free. It also says the app will access your browsing history on your phone because, you know, this is really important to be able to brighten or dim your lights.....right? I really appreciate my Amaran COB and panel (P60C) light, and will eventually buy a tube light or two, but the Sidus Link is spyware, like most any other "free" software (that means YOU are the product), and it really bothers me that Aperture would go that way. Nice video. I am glad I discovered you. I subbed.

The app asks permission, you can ask it not to track activity access other apps.
@@dymonmein - When I read the Privacy policy it was worded that the app WILL access browsing history. When someone says they WILL do something, I tend to believe them. It was not worded with "may" or "with your permission" or any other optional way to deal with that.
5:50 great job using the tube horizontally here when testing as a key. So silly when people use it vertically, then complain it’s not soft enough they need a light dome :)

Damn! That guy's the CEO of Aputure?! I've seen him in some lighting breakdown videos, interviewing DOPs/technicians, and always assumed he was just another TH-cam host.
He is an amazing man. I wish I had half of his enthusiasm.

So, did Aperture release accessories for their lights?
They do now have an egg create accessory for both the 2 and 4 foot versions, and I see that they have a some nato rail pins on the Aputure website. They’re hard to find the easiest way to find them is to click to buy and then look at the items you can add to the order. Good luck.
