- Working on my free 1988 Honda Shadow VT1100. Mostly finishing up the brakes, testing the cooling system and making a sad discovery. Also got a nice test ride in which might be the last one for many many days.

Subscribed, great video, can't wait for the next one 👍
thanks for the watch! next one coming soon.
Would definitely recommend a screen. A long journey and battling wind on your chest or helmet will make a 6 hour ride feel like 12.
Actually a really good video, keep up the great work and enjoy 2 wheels. New subscriber here.
Thank you 🫡
Man I had 94' 1100. I had the EXACT same "What the hell?!" moment when I realized the engine had to come out.
Such a sad moment. I still get sad whenever I see a bike with a water pump that just unbolts out the side
👍😎👍.
Did you put grease in your master cylinder when you were rebuilding it ..??
Yea it came with the kit. I think its a little bit of hydraulic piston assembly grease but ive been told a coating of clean brake fluid will do the trick as well.
Do those cooling fins serve a "real" purpose or are they more for decoration? I mean, the motor is water cooled so, no need for any fins plus without the bolt-on fins, the motor ain't really nothing to look at. Great video! Good job!
Im sure they help a bit keeping the heads cooler. But yeah theres coolant flowing through regardless so I doubt they’re essential. I mostly thought it looked weird without them.
Can you link some of the parts plz. I’m currently working on the same motorcycle
Dm me on ig ill help you out.
Got Vans Odi grips?

Some peeps just should not own mechanical equipment. I have learned this in my family where they are in the majority. Some of 'em can eat an expensive new MC or car in a month or two. Some of 'em even eat homes and appliances.
