Loved this today. My house flooded two days ago. My sewing room is untouched and I was hiding out in there as an escape. Your quiz helped me be not so sad today. Lowell Mass was my hometown the birthplace of the American Textile industry and the Industrial Revolution in our country. PS- Billy earned his shirt!!
Chelsi do not be embarrassed, you earn your T-shirt every time you come onto the show or post a fabric or quilt design! I loved this episode❤ so fun!!!
Such a fun episode guys!!!! Not only was Billy awesome but we all learned so much with the trivia questions with Sherri and Chelsi!! Thanks for keeping me smiling as I played along today!!! :)
Such a fun episode! Love the interaction between y’all! Great job Billy! Chelsea, these questions were so hard! We all learned together today! Love the T-shirt!
It is important for the quilting community to look at its history….. loved this episode. (And love Barbara Brackman for her continuous historical gift to us) ❤
Great episode!! Love the questions and I learned so much, that I didn't know about Quilt History. No worries Chelsi, we learned together today! Thank you both for all the great podcast, fabric lines and patterns.
Excellent and fun questions! Chelsi, I’m reminding of what my son-in-law says- you don’t know what you don’t know - and that goes for all of us! Thank you for the joy you have all brought into my life today! Happy quilting
Paducah Kentucky has the National Quilt Museum. An amazing adventure. If you haven’t been it’s well worth the trip. Great informative show today. Well, they are all good, but learned a lot of knowledge today. Thanks for all you guys share!
I did know most of the answers but this was one of your best podcasts!! Very interactive and fun!! It might be fun to close each episode with a challenge question! 😉
Such a fun episode. I joined you in answering the questions and surprised myself. I've only been quilting for 3 years, but i got a lot of the questions right. All three of you are so cute. Sherri, I have not been a fan of spool quilts but i LOVE your and am going to have to make it. Thanks for such an uplifting fun episode.
That was a great episode, maybe Billy can add a little known fact on each podcast from now on. It’s always fun to learn the history of sewing/quilting/needlework.
I loved this TH-cam podcast! Billy and your questions had me amused and laughing, thank you!!!! Love the tee shirts lol. The whole world should now be wearing the “Billy Knows Quilting” tee shirt!!!! I look forward to mondays for your podcasts!!! Huge thank you!!!!
Oh my goodness, I loved this episode!! Well, let me be honest, I love every episode. Sherri, Chelsi and Billy are tops on my list of quilting podcasts/videos. I found myself smiling an inordinate amount during this episode. I love a good quiz, and more than that I love to learn.....so this hit on every cylinder for me. Sherri you must be beyond proud of these two incredible humans you have raised...as they say...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Thanks!
Billy I am very impressed with your quilting knowledge and I give you an A+. Wear your shirt proudly!! What a fun podcast and I learned something new with those amazing questions you asked Sherri and Chelsi.
This was one of my favorite episodes very funny very informative. I got most of the quilt questions right from both Billy and the ladies. Thank you all for what you do great video.
Great episode I really enjoyed the trivia . Chelsea don’t be so hard on yourself take it as a learning experience I am . Great job thanks for all you three do for us quilters .
I really enjoyed this episode. Billy this was a fantastic topic for the show. You get a top score from me.! I learned so much. Chelsi don’t beat yourself up. I think we all need to learn more about the history with this great craft of ours. You all were so great! Thank you!!
I’ve only been watching your podcast for about 3 months, and the more I watch the more I love it. You guys are so much fun, so informative, and I enjoy hearing all of your perspectives and how you interact with one another. This one was fun and educational too. I prefer the podcast on TH-cam rather than a podcast platform. I feel I get more out of the podcast by seeing the quilts, other items you show, and your facial expressions and gestures. It feels more personal, like being in the room while the conversation happens.
This is so much fun! I can see that Billy was a great teacher in so many ways. I love the history of the art of quilting in the questions. Seminole Patchwork is favorite technique of early strip quilting which is beautiful in garments. Thanks for the great start to our day!
Loved this episode so much! I was happy to learn some good quilt trivia and just enjoyed your interactions. Love your family and can see the love you have for each other.
Oh what fun!! You all did great. We all learned together. Billy you know quilting and as for those history questions you should make a pdf with the answers so we can print those out. Great to go over and learn the history of Quilting. I have been quilting 3 1/2 years and I learned so much today. Thanks Lisa Alexander for the T-shirt that started it all.
Sew much fun today. Love the competitive nature between mother and daughter - lol - I have the same with my two daughters. All in good fun! Moms get the advantage of time and longer years of experiences- it’s ok Chelsie - you still get the advantage of youth and all that brings in physical strength and abilities! Thanks sew much for todays great show!!!
Wow, how fun was this? Okay, please pass this along to Billy……..I have been quilting for a little over a year and just finished my 11th quilt and HE got more correct answers than I did. Wear that shirt with pride Billy! The history questions were so fun and super informative. Great podcast. Thanks again
Such a fun episode! I took the test along with Sherri and Chelsi and missed 3. 😊 I do love history (of course at 70, I have also loved a lot of it 😂). Have a lovely day!
This was great fun. Y'all did great. I must have answered questions in my head, I came up with 18 answers!! It was a lot of fun though. Thanks for sharing more quilt knowledge with us.
You did great Billy! I've been quilting over 20 years and I had to think about a couple of those questions! LOL! I loved all the questions you asked your mom and sister! I actually knew quite a few of those, so that was really fun! Thanks!
I’m a new quilter and had fun with the quiz. I played along with Billy and learned something new. Thanks for the fun. And great job Billy. You know more than my hubby does. ❤
Just watched this video and thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the history of quilts….I learned a lot. Chelsea, not that many years ago (of course that’s relative) stores and businesses were all closed on Sunday as Sunday has always been considered The Lords Day and the day of rest so we didn’t work and I guess they considered quilting and sewing were considered work. I do remember though my grandmother who was the daughter of a Baptist minister and she always quilted and crocheted on Sunday and that was in the 50’s. Everyday Chelsea we learn something new. You three ROCK! Keep on designing.
I loved this. For the first time it feels like an advantage to be OLD. 🤣🤣. I am 73 and have studied quilts, quilt fabric and quilt history for years and years and make quilts. Got them all right except for the name of quilt show after quilt market. (pa-Doo-ka…..haha. I grew up in Kentucky). Enjoyed everyone’s answers and such interesting questions. You will need to make this an annual contest.😉
I have been quilting 24 years and my husband only know that we change them out with the seasons. He called embroidery for years. So I think you all do great.
Fantastic show & Billy DOES know quilting!
I give Billy 100 on his trivia test. Those were tough questions. Thanks for the entertainment.
Me, too! I didn’t even know the answer to a few of them!
Hope you do these at least once a quarter. So much fun.Chelsi don’t feel bad, your mom reads a lot you are busy raising a family.😊
Great job, Billy!!! And did everyone look up Seminole patchwork? Holy Moly!!!
That was fun. I’m glad I knew more of the answers than I thought I would. Great show!
