Wow, what an interview. Matt Hannon is very different from the way I assumed he might be like. He's super articulate, witty and really has it together, and he seems like a really NORMAL person who would be fun to hang out with. After hearing his thoughts on doing *Samurai Cop* it's clear he's been a really underrated actor then and now. I'm glad this movie has had a resurgence because it's obvious there have been some great actors over the years that, for some strange reason, their careers just never seemed to blossom the way you'd think they should have. I'm just sorry we didn't get to see more of this cool guy on the big screen over the past 25 years but it's great seeing him here and this interview is the best ever because it really illustrates just how cool Matt Hannon truly is.

Wasn't the fun of Samurai Cop 1 the fact that is was meant to be a proper film but became a hilarious mess? Either the sequel will be intentionally be bad to attempt to be funny (which almost always fails), or it'll be a straight, well-produced film (which is not the reason people like the original).
