A woman with a child and dna proof that it is Trump's child, that we didn't know about who is unclaimed, would have to be believed. But putting a child through that would be a very tough call. I saw E. Jean Carroll being interviewed on "The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell" cable news program last evening (June 21, 2019) about the details of Donald Trump's assault upon her. Trump cornered her and physically pushed himself upon her. Lawrence O'Donnell was very sensitive and gentle while questioning E. Jean Carroll on his show. E. Jean put on a very brave face throughout the interview and gave a great deal of details. She came across as very sincere, self-deprecating, and shocked about what Trump did to her. He took her off-guard and she fought her way out by kicking. She could not believe what happened and she ran right out of the Dept. store where she worked - which was across from Trump Tower. I hate to think that she will be harmed by coming forward. She still does not want press charges. Patricia Mattone I don’t believe she COULD press charges now because the Statute of Limitations has run. That was the problem with most of the Cosby accusers also. But it is important that she is publicizing it now. If he calls her a liar publicly she could sue him for defamation. Summer Zervos’ lawsuit for libel has been allowed to go forward, so he has to watch what he says. God bless her and a pox on him.
@@subrosa1816 I heard one of the guest on MSNBC state that there are no statue of limitations on first degree rape in New York. That certainly could be different in other states. What happened to E. Jean Carroll was considered first degree rape. Either way, Ms. Carroll stated that she did not want to press charges.

I have learned so much from you regarding the tarot, the meanings behind the images on the cards. E. Jean Carol is old school, like me. Women in my age group shake these assaults off. Keep your head up and move on. I had 4 serious assaults in my life, I never told my parents. I thought it was my fault. It was a different time. There have always been men like this around in every profession. Times up for this behavior. This woman is not interested in legally accusing him of rape. She said she felt it would be an insult to more vulnerable women all over the world who are experiencing this every day.
Melany Runyan Yes, I am in this age group also and I agree about being reluctant to talk about assault. The woman ALWAYS got blamed - her reputation suffered forever. If there were court proceedings the victim was put on trial, etc. And nothing was ever done to the perpetrator, particularly if he was powerful or wealthy. I am actually heartened by the fact that, after getting away with it for decades, Bill Cosby finally got nailed. I pray that that will soon happen to Yeti. He has gotten away with murder, probably literally, for long enough !
I believe he has blood on his hands and is responsible for the deaths and sufferings of untold numbers of people. And, in time I think we will ALL know it.

Although she "shook it off" intellectually, she has not been able to face the emotional damage she endures subconsciously. I am sure my experiences have shaped me emotionally in ways I don't even understand. I notice that her revelations have barely caused a stir. We already know what kind of a man he is and so she's just one more. In our society now, it's just an accepted fact, a nasty one but it's accepted. There are no consequences for this man, or for the many others like him. But, it's said consciousness is rising and I pray for this to be true.

I remember deeply enjoying E. Jean Carroll's monthly column. She was feisty, adventurous, outrageous and very funny - yet she was unable to talk about this invasion at that so-called liberated time. This is very disturbing but part of the crumbling of the old structures.
She has the dress she was wearing when she was assaulted. It has hung in her closet, unwashed. There is actual, physical DNA evidence on that dress. This is a case with hard evidence. Maybe it will make a difference.

The first time I heard Trump speak, I recognized the technique of positive thinking in his approach. He would focus on what was wanted (that big beautiful wall, for instance), regardless of reality being the opposite. He seemed to have gotten THAT part of it right. But he would then mess this all up every time he’d lie, or cheat people, or humiliate them in order to glorify his ego. It’s a weird half-baked incomplete version of Positive Thinking and Law of Attraction, coated with a thick, gooey layer of lies and deceit. We are all by now, well-acquainted with this screwy theory, as we watch it play out in real time, as one of the most spectacular farces ever visited on any nation.
