I was lucky enough to be in the audience that night, my son got us tickets for my birthday, so thank you Seth for even coming in the day after Axel's lobby birth.

He's quite proud of himself. 😊 Pulling pranks on ma & pa, from the start! They say newborns can't smile. He has a sh*t eating grin from ear to ear, With dimples! Adorable!
Yeah, I can never get past this last bit, about his wife, without crying myself. They are both so incredibly lucky they found each other! He is such a great guy, she must be really amazing, too.
I’m seeing this for 1st time, hysterical!!! My sister had her son at home in a beanbag chair, and my son was born with 2 teeth after 1 push and all my parts coming out with him. Birth is an amazing thing, just like the journey that our ancestors faced in life. Axel is a TRUE New Yorker IMO. Love to your and your beautiful family, thank you for reposting this and taking my “cancer crap” pains away for a few minutes.
From laughing to crying, I love that the day after his baby was born, Seth got to download to an audience (in a way that I hope he enjoyed) Wonderful job Alexi- you have him a fantastic story to be told over and over again
This is one of my favorite memories of the last 10 years of Late Night with Seth Meyers. I absolutely love how authentic he is and getting to see just how much he loves his family. He’s just an all around nice guy and I love that for us! We jackals are very lucky to have you Seth! ❤
Seth this bring me to tears I'm literally crying listening to how the neighbors was so kind and the blanket how they were kept warm just the kindness sounds so beautiful
This the second time I have listened to this birth story. He makes it funny but I’m sure it was scary at the time of occurrence. And he is so incredibly sweet when he is thanking everyone especially his wife❤
I've seen this story at least a dozen times over the past few years and it never fails that I'm both smiling and wiping my eyes by the end of it... every time. 😻
The glorious "Lobby Baby" story. Alexei and Seth Meyers are one of the most down to earth, real, funny, and madly in love couples I've ever seen in "celebrity world." All those late night hosts seem to have really great marriages, Conan included! Those men lucked out in their careers AND their love life AND their families! So nice to see good things happen to these funny men - with Seth Meyers being my absolute favorite since he started. And now, he's got a baby girl! Leave your poor wife alone, Seth! 😉
What a story the baby can tell in 45 50 years from now. He's so New York he was born in the lobby of ______ street in NY delivered by the finest - go NYCFD
I have watched this at least a dozen times. It’s amazing that he could pull this together so quickly. It’s brilliant, sweet, and so good he kept this core story for Lobby Baby. (With just a few embellishments.)
I remember watching this when this was released in 2018 and being gobsmacked😅😅. Hearing it a second time is just as incredible 🥰. Damn you Seth for getting emotional 😩😢😃🥰🥰🥰
🎉 congrats. Seth. It couldn't happen to a better family, God bless you and your extended family, have the best of times, your viewer who loves and supports your great work, " happy birthday Axel Myers".
Congrats to you and Alexi and Ash and Axel now having Adelaide in the family. So heartwarming, the family things you share (and honor) with so much authenticity, gratitude, playfulness and love.
@4:55 - the look on Seth's wife's face - to me it says she didn't enjoy being on display. Glad her and the baby were ok. And I'm glad this story got reposted. Seth always gets excited when he tells it. 😊
He did a stand-up special on Netflix about this story. It's called Lobby Baby. It's excellent. And at the very very end of the special. He shows THAT picture. And it cracks me up. Cuz her face says "SERIOUSLY?"
"I'm going to love them (the boys) unconditionally". If someone had told him about the bee suits during lockdown, he might have reconsidered that comment.
The year is 2024. This story is still special. I wish you, your wife, the boys, and the rest of your family the best of all possible lives. Look out for 2019-2021. Good news, everything will be OK!
Awesome story. Dulas come in handy for helping dads stay calm too. What a memory. (I’m a Midwife and can tell you that having a baby in your lobby is much more serene than having it in the front seat of the car just as you arrive at the hospital lobby. Curious people gather around to see what’s going on. And then, the whole PD, FD and EMS arrive followed by the hospital ER and then the co workers arrive with the basin, towels and blankets. We knew someone was coming in in active labor so at least I had a wheelchair.) Axels story is one you will never forget. Hopefully you will camp out at the hospital when the baby is due next time. 😂😂😂
I love this story so glad I get to hear it again :) Such a wonderful amazing memory to last a life time !! An emotional moment thanking his wife and her courage and calmness during this very difficult time was very touching and once again I got teary eyed listening to this moment again. SO so special, Thank you Seth
I was there that recording! Such a great story. He was super kind and talking to all of us during the breaks. Best host!
I was lucky enough to be in the audience that night, my son got us tickets for my birthday, so thank you Seth for even coming in the day after Axel's lobby birth.
I heard this story when it happened and I thought it was sweet. Today I noticed that he was wearing his hospital bracelet still.
He can’t get back to the maternity ward without it! :)
What? No way I missed that. Thanks for pointing it out. Got to love that jackal vision. They don't let anything go unnoticed.
Yeah, I saw that too. In all the excitement he must have overlooked it.
Visitors wear hospital patients' bracelets, too?
@@daniellamcgee4251it is for security purposes it ensures that no one is handling your baby but you. There are people who will go into maternity Wards and steal children
Seth is going to be that old guy that's always telling the same stories but I don't mind hearing them, over and over, because they're the best!
😂"I get choked up thinking about how brave I was"😂
I know, dawg. I was rolling when he said that. Aplausos!
😂😂
Fantastic comedic timing.
Comedic timing is fantastic. Fantastic touching, funny story with pictures. Thank you for sharing.
That was absolute brilliance. He was being very real and raw then brought levity with genius delivery.
“That’s not what lobbies are for!!!” 😂😂😂😂
One of my favourite stories. When he is so moved at the end I start crying every time I watch it.
Same ❤
Same!
Axel looks so proud of himself in that ‘official’ pic. “Yeah, I know how to make an entrance.”
He's quite proud of himself. 😊 Pulling pranks on ma & pa, from the start! They say newborns can't smile. He has a sh*t eating grin from ear to ear, With dimples! Adorable!
I’m crying too about how brave you were!
hahahaha i was crying until he said he was brave! lmao
Yeah, I can never get past this last bit, about his wife, without crying myself. They are both so incredibly lucky they found each other! He is such a great guy, she must be really amazing, too.
She was on their Newlywed Game segment. With Seth's parents.
This is my favorite Seth Segment. No snark and he gets excited and emotional while telling this story. I love Seth's family!
So strange to see Seth in a suit. Love the casual style his is wearing now.
Yes, much better.
See, Covid brought us some good things.
💯
I didn't even think about that, but the casual style does suit his personality better (no pun intended).
@@sdh42 naah , his plaid shirts suit better.
He will forever win with this story🤣🤣. Happy anniversary Seth & LNSM.
❤❤❤ this is still one of the best recounts of life, Seth. And, again, congratulations! 🎉
I was born in a pizza restaurant. One month early! Your son will be resilient and adventurous!!!
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
That's one hella memory you got there!
People born in them normally know they are called Pizzerias.
“She looked like ‘woman smuggling newborn in the leg of sweatpants.’”
Been there.
I never get tired of this story.
I love how much Seth loves Alexi.
I’ve heard this story so many times, but whenever it comes up I always click to hear it again 😊
I love how he's wearing the hospital bracelet
good catch. I didn't notice it either time.
He had to. He wouldn’t be allowed back into the maternity ward or into the nursery without it.
Seth, I don't believe I'll ever tire of hearing the account of your son's birth. Thank you for sharing. 😊
Loved this story back then and love it even more now 😊
I loved when you told us after it happened, still as charming and joyful.
Those birth pics are EPIC.

Feel better, get well, keeping a thought for your total recovery.
Seriously, this is one of THE greatest storied I'd ever heard. A good one to re-visit! Thank you and congratulations on this special moment!
Seth is so cute and funny. I could tell he was getting choked up talking about his wife. Whatta guy. I love him.😎👌💖
Too bad he can’t be cloned
From laughing to crying, I love that the day after his baby was born, Seth got to download to an audience (in a way that I hope he enjoyed)
Wonderful job Alexi- you have him a fantastic story to be told over and over again
Baby's got dad's dimples! how cute!!
Seth aged like fine wine.

Compared to the news of our world today, Thanks Seth, those tears of joy for you and your lovely family felt really good.
I cry every f*@kin time. Such a wonderful celebration of love and life
This should be one of Seth's installments. Rather than breaking news, he could call it "The Baby Is Out!"
So glad i clicked! Seth is so real AND so funny❤🎉❤
The Meyer’s birth story never gets old!💙💙💙💙✌🏻✌🏻
Congratulations Dad 🥳🎉🎊🎈🎂🎉🥳.
You're great Seth..and a truly good man and role model for those kids..

LOL...I remember this, but it was like a new dad doing PTSD therapy to millions of viewers (and you probably needed it). Still a wonderful story.
What an incredible story
Seth ... oh the feels. Someone is peeling onions ...
Congratulations to you and your wife! 👍😃
Dang it. I always cry when a baby is born on Call the Midwife and Seth's story is making me cry now. And I've heard it before! I am nuts.
Lol, I thought he was working hard for us. Never knew he had time for baby making.
hahaha i thought i was the only one who cried. and lmao, too!!!
Yes, Yes You are Nuts

That story is the best seth has ever done. Oh, and the child has started school by now
And they have a little girl born in 2021.

I’m so deeply envious of Seth’s wife. My shortest birth was 12 hours for my middle one. My eldest took 31,5 hours, the youngest 3 days…
Woah! And I keep getting told I'm late for everything! 😮😅
Beautiful story, beautiful man.
I’ll never tire of listening to this story. Not sure how many times I’ve watched it. 🥰 Such a good one.
"I'm going to love them (the boys) unconditionally". If someone had told him about the bee suits during lockdown, he might have reconsidered that comment.
I love this story...congrats on the 10th Seth et al!

This kind of stuff only happens to you Seth!😂❤❤❤❤ Congrats to your family! God bless you and your family😊
Looking back is fun...love this story always...and Seth...how much your hair has changed 😅..just thanks
Lovely story Seth, congrats to your whole family. Tell this story on her 21st birthday.

What a funny and sweet story.
All I remember is f*** the Uber driver that charged me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
His instagram says eventually Uber refunded him. 👍
Look how grown! Seth in a suit! I prefer the relaxed current Seth!
Gosh, I love this guy.
Congratulations to the Meyers Family!!
I love this story so glad I get to hear it again :) Such a wonderful amazing memory to last a life time !!
