I thought this was a look at what it was like when Larry David wrote for Saturday Night Live during the 1984-1985 season (though not Fridays. He was a cast member on Fridays, though he might have contributed to some sketches).
@@lynnebucher6537 I saw that episode of "Finding Your Roots" on PBS. The show was about Larry David, but at the end of the program, it was revealed that his famous relative is Bernie Sanders.
Me and my ADD/ADHD brain when I want to try and work. Keeps making things up about a good condition to work and I keep changing things until I'm too tired for work then I do a fraction of the work I could've.
This was WOW. How Seth straight plays the calmest most patient and pleasant professional that ever lived to Larry's lunatic fringe paradoxically amicable get-off-my-lawn-grouch-geezer. Thanks for bringing it to the fore front for the anniversary. I missed it in 2017 having a rough year and missed some of my favorite things way too much that year, including Late Night w/ Seth & the gang.
Brilliant. I think there is some truth, though, in Larry’s chair issues. I am old too, and, when one has reached advanced years, one’s sitting position makes a big difference in comfort and ability to focus. The tea, though 😂😂😂
I was so sure he was going to sit back in the other chair, wait until they were moving on with the pitches and then interrupt again to ask to swap chairs and positions so that he could have the horizontal chair and the place to put up his feet, but I think it's more his character pattern to rotate between being a royal pain in the ass grouch and suddenly seeming easy-going and reasonable. So it would have been over the top to do that. As if it wasn't already way over the top. And would go over again soon but in another way. LOL I'd have thought of the swap of chairs with the swapping of spots in the first place, because I'm a nit-picky comfort requiring smart-ass who tries to minimize how much I'll make everyone hate me. 😆
Would love to see a theatre production of Waiting For Godot with Larry David & Seinfeld, or Larry David & Jason Alexander. Or Michael Richards & Wayne Knight.
at first i thought this was continuation of that one segment with larry david seth did a while back and then i noticed the seth is younger here and then i realized this is that segment
I love that Seth got to do the famous staring contest with Larry! And Reiss staring up at them with that goofy, entertained look on his face was just 🤌 Still hilarious and brilliant 10 years later!
Very funny indeed. You guys really hit the mark with your Curb take off. I was a little disappointed to see that Amber was really laid back back. She is very feisty, she should have taken some shots at Larry. I guess she was relatively new, so she had not reached her full potential yet.
...now the tea got cold, I feel sorry for the tea, and, no one got to pitch - good meeting 🤘 you should have had a fog horn there too put a stop on Larry David -
Off topic but amusing... Question: If trump fell and broke both his arm really badly and required casts from finger tips to shoulder, would that mean he would be rendered mute? Just wondering. Lol.. Love your program! 😂🇨🇦
a glimpse into the origin story of the Sesame Street strangler
😂😂😂
😆
Elmo knows what Elmo did.
Only George Costanza could face this monster called Elmo and fight it off.

He had a once in a lifetime flow before the pitch meeting, that's why he was late.
😂
I love Bernie Sanders 😂
Bernie Sanders is related to Larry David, this guy. It makes Larry's impersonations of Bernie on SNL even funnier.
@@lynnebucher6537seriously? 😂😂

I thought that was George Costanza
He looked a bit like Patrick Stewart here when he stood up
This is Seth's superego shining through with pitch perfection: you got your Seinfeld episode, after all this time!
Omg the dialogue felt like seinfeld so much around "the pitch is the pitch!" ❤
I would watch a sitcom that was just 20-30 minutes of a Late Night pitch meeting every week.
Really? This is garbage, unfunny garbage. Maybe I missed something...
@@AnthonyMonaghandon't be anti semitic
Them doing a Curb bit every time he visits the show ALMOST makes up for Seth not being on it.😂
This one is Seinfeld writing vibes.
This is amazing. Larry David can make something out of absolutely nothing. "We can 'hey'." Oh my god.
yea, right? "are you above the 'hey'", lol!
Thank you for ten years of laughs and making politics and life manageable.
"are you above the hey?"
"giving of the tea..."

Jerry and George are back at it. Love it!
I presume real-life Amber would shut him down.
I was so hoping for that. But I guess it was Seth's moment to be aggravated.
Oh, YES!
This is soooo a Seinfeld sketch with Seth being Seinfeld.
No. It's a Curb sketch.
Hmm... way too boring to be Seinfeld.
do you have any clue what you're talking about
@@ismaelbelda1 Correction, it's a Curb sketch.
@@JiraffeJackalese That’s what I said
Wow Seth and Larry were awesome together
Was it Conan who once joked about Larry David's Skeletor laugh? You really see it at 1:31. 😀
As per "Bill Hader & Conan Cracked Up Larry David With Dana Carvey's Bits | Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend."
He also did it for "You're a Jew from the Bronx!" Line
As an teacher, Larry David’s comedy style is that of an articulate elementary child that is the only child.
"As an teacher"

It's basically like old George Costanza showed up

I love the "Seth Sucks Butt" foam finger in the background.
I knew Larry David was a writer for Seinfeld but I didn't realize he wrote every line.
Dudes a brilliant writer, but didn't work there the whole 8 years. But it would explain why he doesn't write it for CURB....
I was making a joke about his dialogue sounding exactly like the show.
@@KrakenIsland64 that makes more sense. It says at the end its partially based on Jerry's standup
@@KrakenIsland64 that's because "George Costanza" is Jason Alexander doing a Larry David impression

All the best and most successful stories (and the most terrible but effective lies) always have a seed of truth somewhere.
Amber's face at 4:50 tells the whole story.
The pitch IS (always has been and always will be) sacrosanct!!
how can you watch this for 10 seasons, 45 minutes a pop?
Please, please do this one more time. It’s Curb’s last season, you have to.
Seth wanted to be on Curb. He got his wish.
The tragic thing is that this is the real Larry David.

Just to be clear, this is not footage of an actual staff reunion, but a skit depicting what it might be like if Terry Davis joined the writing staff.
