Storytelling at its absolute finest. Floor is simply from another planet, no other voice reaches into your chest and takes control quite like hers. And yes, that outfit is simply unfair - just incredible
I consider Nightwish as one of the best bands of our time. Six ultra-talented people have found each other. We should only feel ourselves privileged to experience what the six members of Nightwish are capable of. Period. Floor is a out of this world good singer and story teller. Period.

Sam Hardwick did a good job with the spoken word! The studio version and thus the child's voice was recorded when Nightwish was still on shoestring budget and had to hunt through their contacts to find someone in Finland who would have native accent and childlike voice. Nowadays they'd just fly to London to do it with some known professional.

My friend, you have become one of my favorite reactors. You started out a little luke warm, but since then you have really been feeling the passion of Tuomas' wonderful compositions. As you have also discovered, Floor is simple on another level than most other vocalists. I think reactors sometimes overlook or taken for granted that these are live performances. Unlike most other band, Nightwish does not really do much overdubbing of the live performances. What you hear is what this band does in a live performance. As long as the mix from the main board is good and the sound is captured properly, Nightwish performs at a very high level. This is one of my favorites as well. See below for a short explanation of the meaning of this song. The small child's voice represents Tuomas' inner child speaking. When asked what this song was about "Tuomas has said about this song, that it's about if he were to die tomorrow, what would he want to say to everyone that he loves, and that love him..." Notice the small boy on the screen reaching out to the flying swans on the screen. The swan is the guide to the afterlife in Finnish mythology. He is reaching out to implore them to take him with to the other side. A beautiful song filled with sadness from an unfulfilled destiny. When I saw the setlist for this Buenos Aires concert I was so excited as it had so many of the old songs I really like, but my two favs from the concert are this one and 10th man down there is no bad song however and I still like Tarjas versions of some better but it was so good to hear them live again after so many years :D
