Nice driving, smooth and executing the basic line. As an ORP AA instructor, I see some time left on the table. Primarily by using more of the track! More often than not your apex is at the mathematical center of the turn or a late apex is really what you want. I did see a few early apex’s, and remember the T Shirt: “Friends don’t let friends early apex.” Tracking out is the term for leaving the apex and heading to the next turn or straight. Pinching off the turn means not going completely to the outside edge of the track. In general, your momentum is greater by using all the track! Carrying speed means better lap times.
