"I just thought they were really good friends." "That's how it starts a lot of the time." "That's how it stays a lot of the time too." Clock it Sheera lmfao I'm notttt feeling Sydney and Marcus at all
@@thequimsnaim because she's a woman. Males a lot of times interpret kind gestures for something else. Sydney is just being supportive, I've never once felt they had any kind of chemistry or moment.
@@chilichinashopsure, in this case no but if there's chemistry there's chemistry. There's absolutely no chemistry with Marcus but there could be with others. Most ppl spend all their time at work, so naturally that is where they will meet someone who will share similar interests. In this case their love of creating food and that drive for success. Marcus sadly is just a friend, it happens
My favorite detail is that Carmy didn’t even react to the alarm blaring and said it didn’t bother him, he’s like I already got so much stress in my head that it doesn’t matter.
Tina's turnaround as a character was actually a welcome surprise. I didn't expect it at first and thought it seemed a little forced. But I really love what they did with her character. That moment with her and Sydney was great.
Love the dichotomy between Carmy and Syd going after that first Michelin star. She’s excited by the opportunity and how much it’ll push her career forward, and for him, it’s about earning one himself, not just maintaining someone else’s despite already knowing the pressure there is to do so.
Yes. Takes $1 million to start up a restaurant and you won't see a profit until after 1 year. This is common knowledge in the food industry. Be wary of getting financially involved with anyone who doesn't know these things.
So in case any hasn't explained yet. What syd was getting ready to explain was the D3 and D5 difference (the good good). The numbers referer to the layers. It's essentially the combo of stainless steel and aluminum cores. That helps it retain and conduct heat. Also helps with the pan durability. The price isn't no joke though. I bought a D5 12 inch frying pan. It's usually 249.99 but I got it on sale of for 179. But it's great to cook with.
This season is, in my honest opinion, one of the best seasons of TV I have ever personally seen. Its just makes you feel so good, like with Tina getting the offer to become the sous chef this episode, it also made me tear up and that's some good ass character writing and acting to have us go from lowkey hating her in the beginning of season 1 to shedding some tears at her professional growth. The way they develop and flesh out a lot of the characters this season is a thing of beauty. The whole season is practically a 9-10/10 for me, first three episodes were pretty good but from episode 4 to the end its straight back-to-back bangers. Can't wait to watch y'all experience the greatness.
Yes there are folks that ship Syd and Marcus but there are WAY more that ship Syd and Carmy. Have since season 1 but even more by the end is S2. You’ll see why.
i have a soft spot for tina. i’m so happy they gave her development when she began to see the potential carmy and eventually sydney could bring. also the latino representation hits extra hard for me, i don’t see a lot of well written latino characters (or any at all) in film and media, so it’s really cool seeing her in such an amazing show. i love this show. tina and sydney are definitely my fave
Richie aka Cousin remains my fav character! Sorry if Richie wasn't up to speed on Danish design and updating the menu cause he was too busy stopping Mikey from burning the place down! He put up the Fenway poster to keep Mikey from going through with it! Richie needs to go to those Enon meetings just as much as Carmy & Sugar!
I just started watching your vids last week and it's been wonderful winding down at night knowing you have awesome content to watch before I go to sleep, you guys make it feel like I'm just watching tv with friends, it's wholesome, I love it
The only spoiler I will say is The Bear has done what so few shows are able to do do and that is their 2nd season is even better than the first. And season one is damn good.
The greatest thing about this show. As a chef who is still in this very moment makes moves to own. I wish for a Tina and a Richie by the end of this season. Beacuse i am them. Abd Sheera, have you ever thought about the hospitality industry? You have a natural instinct for it. If not, completely understand. People take their sanity overly for granted
Yh I agree I feel like part of ppl being so adamant against it is because Sydney is black 💀 they better be end game. The stuff he says to her and how they think of each other (no spoilers ofc) is so cute
@@tonystonem9614 Some weird racist people maybe. But that doesn’t change the fact that their personalities are totally incompatible, whatever amount of mutual respect and admiration might be there. Like, Sydney and Carmy are both so fuckin’ high-strung, high-performance, they both need someone who can ground them and have patience for them, and that ain’t either of them.
The remodeling of the restaurant, and some characters get their own solo episodes. There is one flashback episode that's an hour long of stress and chaos.
Richie’s “Heard and resented!” in the background is an underrated joke.
2:50 Carmy excelling at cooking but sucking at pretty much everything else is genuinely one of my favorite parts of his character 😂
That’s that Noble prize syndrome 😂
He did say multiple times he didn't really do that well at anything except cooking
He’s also good at drawing
Tina's smile gives me serotonin. She was absolutely beaming
Stunning like wow. She made me fall in love with that smile 🥹
literally she’s so freaking cute 😭
tina and sydney becoming supportive friends is one of my favorite developments. this show is so fucking good.

Fr like that’s a big sis and little brother type relationship to Sydney especially
Not everything gotta be romantic 😮💨

The reaction to the come up is gonna be legendary
yeahhh boyyyyeee
That one’s gonna be great but I’m hyped as hell for Fishes.

I got All Clad, if you take care of it; it will last.
Watching Jeremy Allen White in this after seeing the Iron Claw is a trip lol
Heard!! You're all jumping right into Season 2!! If you thought the first one rocked, the second one has even more of... everything!!
Barkeeper's Friend is a great product for cleaning pots and pans. It's oxalic acid based and makes it easy to scrub the grime and stains.

I love Tina so much. Seeing her growth makes me so happy.
This season is fantastic, wish I could forget it and watch it with fresh eyes again, yahll reactions will just have to do.
I ship Sydney and Carmy so much , their chemistry and how they’ve gotten closer and depend on each other throughout the show is amazing
It makes me very happy to see Roshi, Sheera, and Lupa reacting to this excellent series.
Ms Tina = Latina Niecey Nash! I just can't unsee it 😂
Omg she does look like Niecey
@sanguinesr0se I want Niecey to play her sister so bad! 😂 Same goes for Idris playing Ebra's brother 😂
Thanks!

The character development in this show is unmatched, so far as I’ve seen lol

You know... the lady always thinks that she knows whats gonna happen before it happens. 😅
The seeds have been planted for one of the most uplifting episodes of television but first.... the trauma
Season 2 has absolutely incredible character development.
The Yeah battle had me in tears lmao 😂
This show is so good, I can't wait for your guys' next react to it
Never noticed before, but in the pile of pictures in the beginning of the episode, you can clearly see a picture of who’s playing the mom
Gotta love how the song by Refused was only teased during the entire first season, to have the actual drop now in that moment
right on time chef
Literally just finished season 2 yesterday! Bloody wild shit!
Glad yall are already hoping into season 2. Even better than season 1.
Isekai truck- Hey. Heard you became a sous chef.

Sheera and Roshi: “Yeah…yeaahhh……YEAH!!!!!”
tina went from being hated to being the best character🥰
The Forks episode is what made season 2 imo

This season is even better than the first
Lupa quoting Smith, I see you my guy 🔥🔥

Yes i agree lol i ship them
Nah they have the worst personalities for dating each other. They would both be spiraling in less than a month.

What is Beef season 2 about??! I thought 1 season was good. Hope they don't shoot themselves in the foot.
