- Today I went sourcing garage sales, thrift stores, and even done some retail arbitrage to find stuff to sell on eBay and Amazon FBA. Found some really cool things...and well didn't find some cool things, but still got said cool things. You never know what you're going to come home with when you go to yard sales and Goodwill to thrift for things to resell online.
All my finds can be sold on eBay, Amazon FBA, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist or Mercari. The best place to sell an item is always going to depend on the item itself.

I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.

Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
Q: Can you make a living selling online?
A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

Picked up a big box full of hotwheels for $10 the other day. Found an old one worth $100! Plus the box itself sells for 30 and the rest of the random ones. Anyways, like you say. Always look in boxes!
Agreed! A couple of Saturdays ago it was raining cats and dogs but I decided to go out and look around any way. I knew that people with "garage" sales would probably still be having them. Not more than a mile down the road I found one. At first glance, it didn't really have anything much that I was interested in. But then I picked up a box that was tucked under the one table and started rooting around and lo and behold! A Nintendo 3DS and 2DS just lying there looking for a new home. Got 'em both for $1.50. The 3DS had MarioCart 7 in the slot and works perfectly! The moral of the story: don't be afraid to look down and don't be afraid of digging!

I found a few old books from the 1800s at an estate sale yesterday. Paid 25c for each. Already have an offer from the antique store for 1100 dollars. My stomach is in a knot from the find lol. Getting them checked out by a bookstore tonight to get a real value/info

I continue to learn from your videos so thanks for making them. I found a few bolos today I've seen you mentioned. Anyway I was hoping you could answer a question for me. I saw in a video last night that you sell remotes. I have a box full. How do you test them? I have listed a few with untested in the description and no bites. I'm sure they work or I wouldn't have kept them. How should I list them? Thanks for any info.
You can open your camera on your phone and then point it at the remote. Touch some buttons and see if you can see a light blink by looking at the phone screen. If the light is working, then it's almost certain the remote works.

How do you get the "restricted" removed for the minions?
You might need permission from brand owner, or sometimes it's the category and it will unlock automatically if you request to sell. I haven't checked yet for me.

I picked up a learning game called Geosafari at the thrift for $3. It was taped tight so I couldn't inspect. Clean as a whistle with a bunch of extras. Probably $100 + ship with a solid sell through!

Our one goodwill here has bedbugs so thats a no. We have home depot in the next town over but, here in michigan they dont have to mark things and they dont most of the time. So you dont know what is on clearance and at lowes the employees hide stuff for their friends. Not clear why thats being allowed. But good haul.
The reason those kidde smoke detectors are always on clearance is that they have the highest failure rate of any brand. They guarantee them for 10 years. They don’t last one month! My wife and I had eight of them and the battery died after two months. We had to replace them with first alert. Also my wife is a former paid fire and ems and most of the disasters she saw could have been averted if they hadn’t had kidde. Just so you know.
