Check out the 2022 Infiniti QX55! This SUV is super stylish on the outside, and has all of the necessary equipment to satisfy the everyday driver. My favorite Details are the Grill, Chrome Accents, Rear LED tail lights and the new infiniti logo! Also the wireless apple car play and android auto is another nice step towards bringing parity between this brand and others!

Come on infinity if you want to get your groove back dump the dual screen,add a headsup display and full digital dash. It looks good and seems to drive very well. If you can’t run with the big dogs then stay on the the porch. Good review my man.

My mom just bought one of these and she could not LO❤️E it more❗️Hers is black as well but with the available black & white contrasting seats/interior which looks TOP NOTCH. There ain’t no two ways about it - It’s a hot little number. 🔥

Recall coming with that park feature. I can see the accidents happening already. Nice video. I have a '14 Q70 sport 3.7 v6. No aux wire in there. Bluetooth only. But i do feel like Infiniti is a tad bit behind with technology.

Is the MSRP 50k? Also, what's the ride height and manufacturer stated mpg? You said it's similar to BMW X4? I thought M4. Seems it would be cheaper than X4 or GLC, with less complex engine parts and easier to maintain. I like it. Welldone wiz. New subbie.
I have had mine for just over a year. It has the sensory trim with all the bells and whistles. I love the look and all the features. The cruise control is great, I really appreciate the LKA and the heads-up display. I would mention some of the driver assist features are a little quirky, when there are multiple lanes of traffic and the road curves sometimes it will abruptly break potentially causing the person behind you to hit you if they aren’t paying attention. Also, when you’re using cruise control and the road curves if you don’t decrease your speed in time it will stop steering in the turn potentially causing an accident if you aren’t paying attention.
Overall my biggest complaint with this car is that there isn’t a different power train option. Coming from a 2020 Giulia, it left just a little to be desired unless it was in sport, that’s where it shines for sure. However! After being in a base model x3 for a month (don’t ask) I was extremely happy to be back in my vehicle and I’ve appreciated it much more every since. I would only buy another one tho if they made a 6 cylinder and improved the quality control. I had this car a month before I realized the ac didn’t work, and the leds in the headlights would flicker at times causing annoying warning ⚠️ lights.
On second thought 🤔 I probably wouldn’t buy another one but I have really enjoyed this one.
At any rate.. great video!! Enjoyed the review, I wish you had the sensory trim tho it definitely changes the experience.
I would prefer to be able to turn those systems off permanently. When I restart the vehicle they should stay off, but they automatically re-enable and thus you may experience issues again!
Nice review! I, too, prefer the black bumper/wheel well pieces to be body color (it would not bother me to see some bright trim in the area as well). Nice tip about the lowering all 4 windows, a first for any QX55 review!

Just got mine yesterday, Red with the red detailed interior. Love it so far. Struggling with all the tech., Pro Pilot assist, WiFi etc.. Love the interior, got the lighting option and chrome package as well.

Nice review. I don't understand why people don't like dual screens. I fly a high performance single engine aircraft with multiple screens. I find having a screen for maps and another for radio and other settings very helpful. I'm looking for a used model with low miles and find the prices to be great.
Glad I chose the GX50 I needed the extra storage space but beware didn't realize until after the purchase it required super unleaded
Same center display as in my 2006 Infinity also sales of Infinity cars and SUV’s have tanked in the last few years the most sales are to rental agencies

Beautiful car I would deff get it when my lease finishes, but the interior needs a lot of work. For the same price the Acura RDX is miles ahead
I love the QX55. I parked right beside one (in my Alfa Romeo Stelvio) and they look very similar.

I see alot of comments about running with the big dawgs...nothing wrong with the vehicle other than that engine. Infiniti btw it's SPELLED with a I and a Y..
My Infiniti has the name written across the back and it's 5 years old. What are you talking about? Next, the cars are easy to care for meaning you aren't paying 200+ for a freaking oil change and 2k for breaks. I'm on my 4 Infiniti and I've never had to pay for a major repair. Hate the inside because not into the two tone. Well made cars that have a great ride. Not for you, spend your money on the cars that take ya money for maintenance.
C-V-T is my only issue with it. Looks great tho
I love it! Infiniti is finally pulling off a nice design, after so long. However, the CVT tranny is a deal breaker.
I also recommend this vehicle you forgot to mention on the key fob if you hit lock the hit the circle at the bottom it will remote start and you can open and close the hatch with the remote ..

good review. yeah the plastic trim pieces just unacceptable... they fade ugly. I gave up on Infiniti when they with CVT transmissions. Lots of stiff competition these days, so not sure if Infiniti can regain their former glory.

Repair cost is ridiculous, when out of warranty if you don’t have extended warranty you will Financially be drained for repairs. These are vehicles 🚗 that are high on car jacking list. Do your homework before purchasing. Salute 💯🇱🇾real talk. Seems like all new vehicles come with no tow hitches that’s a selling bargain for dealership’s more $$$ Over all nice review, I personally looked at Qx60 . Price $69000 wow

I do have a basic question: is there a difference between the QX55 and the Q55? I'm hearing these used interchangeably, leading to some confusion. I'm so easily confused... LOL.
Jeffrey thanks for watching my review! Typically QX in the prefix is for infiniti SUV and Q is for the sedans but you must be referencing the Q50 sedan
I didn't know this model even existed until now; looks sharp! It's a more subtle approach on those crazy weird French curves Nissan products have been using lately; this design strikes a nice balance

You do know Nissan is the Parent Company of Infiniti right. The QX55 is the premium Nissan Rouge.

Good review. You reviewed the base trim luxe. The essential and sensory trims have the cube LED headlights which are auto leveling and adaptive /cornering lights. The anolog guages don't bother me. I think it's still modern looking. Maserati in 2022 still uses analog guages.
Thank you! The QX55 was supposed to be the essential so thats is what i spent quite a bit of time researching. So when i went to pick it up the day of the shoot i quickly realized it wasn’t so i had to call an audible lol. I literally have all of that stuff and more in my notes 🥲. The digital dash is really more of a personal preference for me, but i hear you on the Maserati they are still living off the name. Thanks again for watching!
I’ve owned a 2011 G37 and a 2014 Q50 that I still drive today. Both with a naturally aspirated V6 with automatic transmissions and around 328 hp. I want to upgrade, but the QX55 with a 4 cylinder turbo paired with that CVT tranny just doesn’t seem appetizing. Same for the QX50. They should do them the same way they did the new QX60 and dump the CVT😬
Keep that G37 bro trust me! Mine got totaled and i still miss it. There was nothing like that V6. It had power shifting was smooth. Had me feeling like Dominic Toretto🤣. Thanks for watching!
@@WizLovesCars unfortunately, I was at a stop light and got rear ended, totaling my G37. Hit and run. Then I got the Q50. The Q50 is gorgeous and nice to drive and I get a lot of compliments on it, but I liked my G37 just a little bit better .
I agree. The CVT is going to cripple the QX55. The hot seller is going to be the QX60 with the NA V6. The QX60 is the Premium Nissan Pathfinder. QX60 is the one to get.

The reasoning for adding the Infiniti inscription on the trunk has less to do with copying Lexus and more so with brand recognition. In consumer tests, it was shown that infiniti’s recognition has weaned significantly over time . You also see this tactic was used by more prestigious brands like Aston Martin who started putting the inscription on their cars in markets such as China where they were not as widely known

Infiniti needs to be more concerned about improving their quality over anything else.
They had this on the old G37s which I had, just bringing back it back… they also have the same rear view mirror and other parts from 2008 which is ridiculous… very disappointing Infiniti lost its glory
The sporty look of the Mercedes GLC and BMW X4 and X6 slightly beats this car due to the roof spoiler

CVT isn't as bad as ppl make it to seem.. whether it's 1 speed or 6,7,8,9 or 10 speed, it's still an automatic transmission. Ppl just like to cry about the unnecessary.

@@TheLaw_11 Once you used to it they are great. No jerking around and keeps the revs low for gas mileage. Got JX35 at 120k miles no issues yet and towed several uhaul trailers with it.

The only two vehicles I would invest $$ in from entire Inifiniti line up is the QX80 and the Q70L. Everything is a hard ass pass. Finally able to pick up my 2018 Volvo V90 next month.
You'll have to settle on just the QX80 since Infiniti killed the Q70/Q70L in 2019.
I like but the inside need some upgrades and wish had a clear sunroof

The car is very basic on the inside of the vehicle for the price. I like the size, wheels, & color of the vehicle.
I was soo pissed the first time I saw the interior was like why.. design such an amazing exterior with a 2008 interior. They could have done what they did with the new Qx60

You mentioned the turbo charged 4 cylinder engine, but you didn't say anything about the transmission. And also, you didn't mention the spare tire situation, doughnut, or "Fix a Flat" aerosol can.
Transmission is CVT, check the comments everyone hates it lol. No spare either in this specific vehicle so you are looking at roadside assistance or stranded unless you opt in for a spare.
There is no spare as the QX55's have run flats
Nice car, but it far from being the best budget SUV coupe. Take a look at the Haval H6 and Haval Mythical beast. Modern, far better looking, modern interiors and really affordable

Hey Richard, price wise this starts off in the mid $40k range but you are also welcome to check out the different options it those are of interest to you. I do have a review that you can check out of a competitor macan. Price wise i think this is a solid option for anyone interested in a crossover in this price range and that is what this review is highlighting. I appreciate you watching and engaging

Now Hugo you already know the answer to this question 🤣. Only heated seats & HELL NO to everything else. I have reviewed a couple BMWs that have massage seats if you’re into it.
You think that holding down on remote to lower all the windows are that neat ? You need to check out Genesis, with their remote, it parks itself. You should be freaked out.

I actually purchased one of these in December and sold it back to the dealer around February … for me this vehicle is severely lacking.. the fact that the interior is so basic and you don’t have an option for Panoramic moon roof was mind blowing to me … the vehicle is gorgeous to say the least and it was a head Turner everywhere I went .. but overall I would not say this is the best suv coupe for the price .. if solely based on style and sex appeal… maybe lol but this vehicle falls short on so much

It’s a nice looking vehicle but it’s not worth the money at its price point there’s to many other better vehicle out there, get read of CVT transmission and give the infotainment system a major upgrade .

The growl just isn't there anymore. I cant be the only one who misses that engine growl! Disappointing because I love the benefits you get with style and low maintenance , speed....the growl just isn't there anymore!

@@WizLovesCars I’m in a G37 Sport coupe and it’s time to let her rest. I have not been able to find another coupe (reasonably priced/compatible) to the engine feels I get from my precious G37. I leaning heavily on this upgrade after test driving the GX55. Wondering if I wait a another year and we complain enough if they’ll give us back the growl lol.
