Common (Cape) Bushbuck Alarm Call & Animal Sound - Bushbuck Video
The Common Bushbuck (Tragelaphus sylvaticus), more well known these days as the Cape Bushbuck, is one of our favourite antelope species. They are just beautiful animals. Bushbuck can be found near water in the Kruger National Park, but are very common in almost every Rest Camp in the Kruger. This video was taken outside Lake Panic Bird Hide, and this tame female or ewe Common Bushbuck, played the game and was very willing to have it's photograph taken.
In this video you will hear the call or bark of the Bushbuck, which is generally only heard when there is a predator around, especially Leopard. I just wish Bushbuck were more common, especially the males, they are stunning, and often fight over territory with Nyala bulls.
