The prices of service will definitely increase.Same has happened with me in cevrolet,after two years of left country the spares part availability decreased also the spares cost was very high.
You are correct Pawan, ford already started doing this in Hyderabad, an accident vehicle they said some spares need to be imported, wait period is 3 to 5 months and those spares are heavy priced because of customs duty on import, so obviously in future prices of spares increases drastically

There is nothing strange about this. Ford has shut down the production unit in India, since manufacturing is not seemingly falling within their determined overheads.. This logic applies even in our household... When we can't afford a servant maid, we would resort to cleaning our home ourselves to cut the cost... Even Maruti did the same thing in 1984, when Suzuki Motor Corporation was having major share as compared to Govt of India. The inventory was imported from Japan and Maruti was assembled here. Only after Suzuki Motor Corporation accepted for indigitization, the patents were sold to set up production unit of Maruti Udyog in Gurgaon. So, if Ford is produced in India or USA, how that affects the customers? Sales, spares and services will still continue as usual.

Every company promise to make available the parts and spares. But when manufacturing itself is stopped,how can spare parts be available?? Chevrolet also promised the same thing but now a days Chevrolet service charge is very high and spares parts not available.

See brother, not only Ford.. vw, nisan, also going from India soon.. what are all the things you said is correct but in India majority of car buyers now are middle class people and upper middle class people. For rich it doesn't matter Ford rahe ya na rahe, so for this middle class and upper middle class people want a car which is attractive as you said and service cost should be less and also parts must be available also in local stores. Everyone are not living in metro cites, maximum c.suv owners lives outside metro cities and there they have to be dependent over local mechanics. This is where Ford did mistake by not selling parts outside its showroom premises. Gst sgst etc no middle class person can bear it. So they love to visit local mechanic shop and do their car service with lesser cost. Ford is gone.. so say good bye.. use Ford for another 10 years. Yes it is big struggle if you don't get proper spare parts..! But they cheated on Indians and went... it is very true..
