I think ford left India at wrong time. They done all the hardwork over the years and when Indian consumer mentally prepare for choosing safety over mileage they left India. And as you mentioned in video now it is difficult for current ford owners like me to find substitute. Really waiting for them to comeback

Yes initially the cars were expensive to maintain but not after 2017. Many people were not aware of this and Ford did not market this either. That's the reason for Fords failure

Pichli baar engine light ki dikkat hui hai. But service center walo ne pura steering control unit hi badal ke de diya😅. Wo bhi warranty me. So im happy

I am driving a Ford Figo 2012 since 11 years and it's still a joy to drive....Drove Baleno and other hatchbacks but nothing comes close... FORD is an emotion....
I own Ford Freestyle Titanium Plus Petrol, driven it 32k kms till now, It is giving me 13km/l in city and 15km/l on highways and I am still very happy about it. The steering response, acceleration, safety, ground clearance , everything about this car is so perfect. I wish ford comes back to India 😢, one cannot change to other car brands after driving this machine ♥️. Beast of an Engine 🔥.

I am using Ford Ecosport Diesel Since 11 April 2019, Covered 97000 kms till date. It's road presence, build quality, power, ground clearance, AC, music system are all good. I get 19 to 19.5 kmpl on Highways. One more quality of Ford is that they used to provide all 5 Alloy wheels. Unlike many car manufacturer's, forcing undersized and non-alloy 5th wheel.

I am driving a ford figo Zxi petrol 1.2l. This is a gem of a car and it seriously competes with all the cars in hatchback segment and even the SUV segment. The fun, the trill, the adrenaline all comes out when this car is at both the highway and even in the city(Mostly at the highways). The insane driving dynamics, steering control, torque it comes and it makes a smile at my face. Just after giving my car for service, it's just born anew and it gives me a city mileage of 16kmpl despite it being a petrol engine. It gives like 22kmpl in highways itself. Everything in the review was right just as I wanted it to be. Ford ek emotion ei nahi but ek family wala feelings dete hai. just changed all the major parts in 30k and made it brand new. It roars to go above 120kmph of speed in highways. It's a pocket rocket. Just the clearance is lacking but the freestyle seriously fixes that all. If you have a Ford Freestyle diesel titanium top-end version, keep it. Or else sell it to me, I will happily buy it. No matter whatever the colour but the brown color is my favorite of the bunch. I will be happy to buy the brown colour of the Ford Freestyle diesel titanium top-end version. That torque of the 1.5L diesel is not comparable to the cars of today's hatcback segment. Or if in SUVs, you will face a lot of rollovers which kills all the fun. But this doesn't kill it. I do really miss ford!! They must comeback.
Figo was overall better tha swift.. Free style better than baleno and i20.. Ecosport better than Breeza aspire better than desire and aura... And endeavour better than Fortuner.. Yet Ford failed to sell them baring Ecosport all cars were selling in very low numbers... Had Ford come up with timely upgrades story could have been different... Ecosport and figo ist gen were well received by India market with record number of bookings

Aur ek hai, 2018 ki, white, seat change karni paregi kiuki dekh k lag raha hai bahot hi weighty log travel karte the, 35000 km chali hai, asking price 3,25,000/-. I can totally relate with the owner. I’ve managed to drive my freestyle(petrol) twice all the way to himachal from Mumbai and back. No hiccups whatsoever.
Ford driving experience was unmatched. I had ford fiesta (classic, titanium) diesel 2013 model. Drove more than 1.2L KM. Service experience was also good. Moved to Tata Safari 2022. After sales service is pathetic in Bangalore.

Wonderful experience. I drive almost 75000 km in just 5½ Years. Travelled all over Maharashtra, Gujrat, MP. This was my first ever car in life at the age of 55. No worry Car. Can't deny it's a family waali feel for my mom aged 75 years. She is much more Happy. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
In my experience , when my family was looking to buy our first car, 4-5 yrs ago the dealers at all the other brands except ford were persistent and were resolving any query about their cars, Ford dealership was like " jo he woh lena he toh lo warna jao ", they were too uninterested in selling.
I own a Polo diesel 2012. There were only two pocket rockets I'd thought of owning other than my beloved Polo. The 1st one was an Abarth Punto and the 2nd one was a Freestyle. I even almost bought the Ford Freestyle (an all-rounder) in exchange for my Polo. But I guess I was too sentimentally attached to part with my Polo. Like the owner of the Freestyle said, in this segment, today, nothing comes to mind as a performance vehicle and an all-rounder. Probably the only one which piques my interest is Citroen C3 (in terms of performance and stability). I would very much like to see DDS do a drive comparison with these Trio - Freestyle, Abarth Punto and C3. I can't think of a better person to do a comparison video. No one out there who can do the review and analysis this perfectly and honestly. - From Kerala with Love ❤

I bought Aveo from Chevrolet in 2010 due to budget constraints. My boss had suggested Ford which was a bit coslier. I wish i had bought ford, though Aveo is as good minus mileage and a very hard gear system.

I call it all rounder coz with Power of 100Bhp + 6 Airbag safety + 28 kmpl mileage, this car is literally an amazing car with great handling and ride quality under 10 Lakhs.

@@freetv23023 Took the test drive. Lots of ifs and buts. Low end torque is a joke. It is only after 1750-2000 rpm that engine starts it grunt. Power delivery is neither linear nor turno-like. Fit and finish is weird - doesn't feel like a skoda (or a VW in case of virtus), thanks to the cost cutting. No ADAS, No 360 Camera, No Ventilated seats and yet I'll end up paying 17.5 - 20 lakhs (on road) depending upon the variant. Not worth it.

Ford left a big void in Indian market. I remember taking a test drive of Figo 6 speed TC automatic variant and I can confidently say no car today from that price bracket can even remotely match it's performance and handling characteristics. It was available for around 9.5 lakh OTR with discounts but unfortunately my budget at that time didn't allow.

Fan Motor complete assembly 9000 diesel pump 40,000 . Ask for wheel nuts of ecosport approx 5000 for nuts which are almost always damaged in any ES

Parts were not costly after 2012. It was cheaper than most.

Everything in the review was right just as I wanted it to be. Ford ek emotion ei nahi but ek family wala feelings dete hai. just changed all the major parts in 30k and made it brand new. It roars to go above 120kmph of speed in highways. It's a pocket rocket. Just the clearance is lacking but the freestyle seriously fixes that all. If you have a Ford Freestyle diesel titanium top-end version, keep it. Or else sell it to me, I will happily buy it. No matter whatever the colour but the brown color is my favorite of the bunch. I will be happy to buy the brown colour of the Ford Freestyle diesel titanium top-end version. That torque of the 1.5L diesel is not comparable to the cars of today's hatcback segment. Or if in SUVs, you will face a lot of rollovers which kills all the fun. But this doesn't kill it. I do really miss ford!! They must comeback.
This car is from 2010. Damm!! it is seriously that old and performs like new.

Figo was overall better tha swift.. Free style better than baleno and i20.. Ecosport better than Breeza aspire better than desire and aura... And endeavour better than Fortuner.. Yet Ford failed to sell them baring Ecosport all cars were selling in very low numbers... Had Ford come up with timely upgrades story could have been different... Ecosport and figo ist gen were well received by India market with record number of bookings

Jo 2018 ka hai, wo gari ka odo dikha raha hai 22005 km chali hai, lekin left side wheel k upar side me ek bara sa dent hai, asking price 4,99,000/-. Ye chhorke gari ekdam super tiptop, custom colour, custom vinyls, custom hood. Colour bhi bahot acchi hai. Aur jo 2021 ki gari hai, wo doctor ki hai, simple white, 58000 km chali hai, tiptop hai, asking price 4,75,000/-. Aur ek hai, 2018 ki, white, seat change karni paregi kiuki dekh k lag raha hai bahot hi weighty log travel karte the, 35000 km chali hai, asking price 3,25,000/-. Abhi aap ki kya rai hai in tino k bare mein?

Ford driving experience was unmatched. I had ford fiesta (classic, titanium) diesel 2013 model. Drove more than 1.2L KM. Service experience was also good. Moved to Tata Safari 2022. After sales service is pathetic in Bangalore.

Hi sir.. mere pass ford freestyle hai usme last 3 month se steering lock malfunction error aati hai mene ford service center se repairing karvaya 3 baar but service center Wale problem solve nhi kar rahe hai har bar kuch na kuch Naya dalne ke liye bolte hai escl,bcm,and battery already change karvaya service center se but problem abhi bhi solve nhi Kiya ab bata rahe hai ki dashboard wiring pura change karna padega please is issue ke bare me apko kuch pata ho to guideline de sakte ho app

@@shubhamkumawat1289 Yes Tdci engine is gem of a engine but only in bs4 as bs6 has so many dpf clogged issue though every brand is facing this,Petrol FS is not bad either it has decent power with good high end which would give you good driving pleasure diesel one feels more peppier due to its 215nm torque

Ford used to pay highest packages to their workers, more holidays and better facilities which was increasing their cost of production per car.
In my experience , when my family was looking to buy our first car, 4-5 yrs ago the dealers at all the other brands except ford were persistent and were resolving any query about their cars, Ford dealership was like " jo he woh lena he toh lo warna jao ", they were too uninterested in selling.

I own a Polo diesel 2012. There were only two pocket rockets I'd thought of owning other than my beloved Polo. The 1st one was an Abarth Punto and the 2nd one was a Freestyle. I even almost bought the Ford Freestyle (an all-rounder) in exchange for my Polo. But I guess I was too sentimentally attached to part with my Polo.
Like the owner of the Freestyle said, in this segment, today, nothing comes to mind as a performance vehicle and an all-rounder. Probably the only one which piques my interest is Citroen C3 (in terms of performance and stability).
I would very much like to see DDS do a drive comparison with these Trio - Freestyle, Abarth Punto and C3.
I can't think of a better person to do a comparison video. No one out there who can do the review and analysis this perfectly and honestly.

I bought Aveo from Chevrolet in 2010 due to budget constraints. My boss had suggested Ford which was a bit coslier. I wish i had bought ford, though Aveo is as good minus mileage and a very hard gear system.
Bought my Figo in April 2018. I still love it. My next car would be Citroen or Figo.

I call it all rounder coz with Power of 100Bhp + 6 Airbag safety + 28 kmpl mileage, this car is literally an amazing car with great handling and ride quality under 10 Lakhs.
Ravi sahi bole..... Ye car kam speed per high gear lagane per bhi maze see uthta hai.... Ford Figo Diesel is made for highway running..... My 8 year old diesel car (62000 km) giving 28km/l avg, when I am running this car on highway at 80-90 speed.......

@@freetv23023 Took the test drive. Lots of ifs and buts. Low end torque is a joke. It is only after 1750-2000 rpm that engine starts it grunt. Power delivery is neither linear nor turno-like. Fit and finish is weird - doesn't feel like a skoda (or a VW in case of virtus), thanks to the cost cutting. No ADAS, No 360 Camera, No Ventilated seats and yet I'll end up paying 17.5 - 20 lakhs (on road) depending upon the variant. Not worth it.

Ford left a big void in Indian market. I remember taking a test drive of Figo 6 speed TC automatic variant and I can confidently say no car today from that price bracket can even remotely match it's performance and handling characteristics. It was available for around 9.5 lakh OTR with discounts but unfortunately my budget at that time didn't allow.
