I love how much you loved this song!! Your reactions were exactly the same as mine. Goosebumps and smiling and maybe a tear or two. You breaking the song down during certain parts that just made my jaw drop were interesting to hear (-:
You should react to some of her live performances! She's my favorite female swedish singer and it would mean so much to me see you listening to it
Wonderful review! This song almost always makes me cry because it's just so beautiful and feels so honest in the context the movie presents.
I felt exactly the same! I heard it on the radio, asked Siri what it was, found it on TH-cam and then realised it was a film! I watched the film and loved it. It’s a magical song that can illicit physical and emotional responses like goosebumps, shivers and tears! I was waiting for your response and your views mirrored mine, let’s all go and see the whales and seagulls and Elves! Xx
Omfg! I'm sitting here - alone on a bus - and crying my eyes of! When she started singing the Islandish part - I burst! And I'm from Sweden... Molly - Du är fan ett jävla underbarn!!! How could I never take the time to listen to Molly before?!! Shame on me!
Love it! Like u, singing in Island its sooo beautiful 👏🏻 Molly has a very warm and genuin voice 💛
This woman have amazing voice. Beautiful song. ❤️
Since for ever i wonted to learn Icelandic. It´s so powerful. I have the advantage speaking swedish and understading norwegian and danish and some finnish. So someday i will do it.
I get a tear in my eye every time she starts singing in Icelandic 😆
Me too.
Love from Austria 💕
thank you for this. I really enjoyed your sincere critique and watching your face light up. I am from Iceland and just like you the song gives me goosebumps and an overwhelming bursting feeling of pride and good feelings. Also makes me so incredibly homesick.
That was such a sweet review, great video. My family plays that soundtrack on repeat and every time I get goosebumps too.
I’ve been a fan of Molly for years! I’m happy to see her get recognition outside of Sweden 😊😊
That song makes me cry every single time I hear it.
I absolutely loved her voice and the songs were amazing!!!!!
Love your dialect! Keep on talking, I could listen for hours! Hope you Will have an awsome weekend!
Yes she is so good! Get her on spotify! :) Proud to be a swede! :)
Your so right spot on , it stills gives me goose bumps every time I hear it xx
Not a sing off. It was a song a long.
Also... Rachel sang live but her vocals were being sang over by Molly's vocals.
that's why it doesn't look like lip syncing.
Icelandic ballads gives you shivers because it is a beautiful language.
Watching your response to this, Georgina, was almost as great as listening to the song itself! Such joy.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I’m so proud of being European and the whole Eurovision experience, I’m so glad I grew up with it and the amazing songs that came from it. Kisses from The Netherlands 🇳🇱 I’ve listened to this song on repeat for the last week 😅
Real GREAT Song - & Singing ! Almost Lile FLOOR JANSEN !
I wasn't even watching the movie, it was on in another room in my house and as a singer myself I heard the ending song and came barging in the room, "WHO TF IS SINGING RIGHT NOW?" I got goosebumps from another room lol. The quality and control of the lows in the first few lines and then the transitions from chest to head in the chorus all while belting like that. So personal, so profound it literally made my eyes well up and gave me chills...absolutely incredible. I couldn't stop thinking about this song and I didn't even see the whole movie haha
The song in the middle of the film was very cool. Love your comments. I get the same chills from the song. Great movie. Lars and Sigrid !!
This is so beautiful I love it now is my second favourite Eurovision song after Dami Im Sound Of Silence
Dami was robbed in 2016
Congrats to Molly and this song on the Oscar nom! I hope it wins.
Never new about Eurovision and now I want to watch the next one so badly.👍🏽💯
Your're decades late. lol I'd watch it cause of my mom back in the days. I'm from Toronto, Canada and like ma what's this garbage from Europe. Then I got into it. My two favs was Greece Elena Paparizou and Sweden's Loreen 2012.
Thanks for your interesting reaction, not that I understood the musical /technical aspect. Lol! ..However I totally felt the same way. When I hear Molly singing that song I get goose bumps every time and because some of it is in Icelandic, I really feel that it adds another layer of emotion to the song. Just amazing. Then that high note at the end!! How on earth!!?? I really ought to find more of Molly's music.
You look absolutely gorgeous in this kind of makeup ❤️
This song always sucker punches me in the feels! So beautiful!
