That white man actually produced Dave's 1st award winning album so they have a very strong & important relationship.
The 2 young white people worked in prison reform & Jack worked with Dave's brother who is in jail for being part of a murder. Both of these young people were ironically killed during a terrorist attack, Dave is paying them homage. Throughout this there is a conversation about divide BUT ALSO about how we are able to be there for each other, that sums up the UK really.
Dave is 1 of the best in the world right now, not just in the UK. This track should have won a Grammy but of course it appears that unlike other musical genres, America is not very open to allowing our rap talent into their charts... UK rappers are very lyrical, a lost art form in America, perhaps that is where the issue lies... You should check out Avelino & Dave's track CASSIUS CLAY - it's a masterpiece!

Jack worked for prisoner reform, including for Dave's brother who is still locked up. He was murdered and his parents were invited to the Brits. Dave added the last verse as a surprise tribute.

Don't apologize for pausing and taking the lyrics in, he's deep and spits a lot of facts in a short period of time, pausing is necessary .. Yesterday I visited a special ed room in an England school.
These little kids have severe delays.
Their work for the day was Rosa Parks!
They were learning simply that she was a lady on a bus.
Many of the children around here have no concept of racism so it was beautiful to see them learning about her as a significant historical figure,
but not learning prejudice.

Great reaction, Jack Merritt in the song was murdered at an event for released prisoners who had been helped by Jack and colleagues through an Education Project in Prison. Dave had met Jack through his brothers as they have both been in y, one of them is still there. Check out Question Time Dave made when he was 19 years old. Also Heart Attack as historian Mum speaks on the end of it and he touches on the violence she suffered from his Dad, “Mummy “fell” down the stairs “ she came over from Nigeria. Also Leslie, dealing with violence against women. He’s intelligent and articulate.Check out Stormzy too, Dave and him are good friends and have a tune Clash together.
