Just a little mistake at the start of the video! Mid Century architecture is widely known to have begun in roughly 1945 (end of WWII) however, some sources say it began in the 1930s. I think “roughly 1945” is more widely known, so me stating the 1930s is misleading. Sorry for the confusion!

The first time I heard him snoring, I thought something was wrong with me, quickly realized it wasn't my breathing, but then thought something was wrong with my pc, and then (and only then!) did I remember she mentioned Bowser's snoring would probably pick up on the mic, and I was so relieved 😅 So while apologies are not strictly necessary, I definitely appreciate that she mentions it whenever he joins her! Once I knew their source, his snoring definitely grew on me, hahaha, Bowser is such a good boy!

World War II was between 1939-1945 so mid century design became popular in the late 1940’s. Sorry for being annoying (love your videos) just felt like the historical context was needed since the 30’s were characterised by economic depression

I don't have the nerve cause I have ADHD and add and it's hard to think of my next build. But I don't know how to get custom content cause it's hard to put on my computer and I need to find a way to get it. But hopefully one day I'll figure it out and learn how to use it. Deli you've been looking look so sunny and vibrant recently! Also love how your tee matches your bedcover, looks so satisfying lol. House is amazinggg! I can say I'ts my personal favorite of yours. I did a similar one for my dream home project, mine came out more toned down but still colorful, kinda more sims 3 looking, but this one gives me the same vibes. I did the same kind of decking upstairs surrounding the second floor, with similar panels that you can open and close freely for privacy. The courtyard omgg mine was more plain cuz the lot is I think 40x30 so more elongated
yea went off a bit but I just adore this kind of mix of styles, its mid century but more fresh and upgraded, 2023 vision lol

I absolutely love this house! In real life it would make sense to have all these bedrooms in a mansion but for the sims I would've put more gameplay items in, skill building room, office, laundry, etc. :)

A family relative of mine had a house with a conversation pit, looking up to a giant (albeit outdated) TV. And even as a child, not knowing that conversation pits were a mid century and 70s thing, I already thought that it was the coolest thing ever. It was etched in my mind that I had to have it when I grow up. It felt so convivial and personal, especially when having all other family relatives over.
This build was spectacular ❤
Being from St. Louis, Missouri I am WELL versed in the Mid-Century style... not sure why but it's alllll over the place.

This is absolutely stunning (and big...! kudos for all your work!!). 💕 I'm especially in love with the whole kitchen dining living area. The dark woods with all the color and furniture choices you made just ooze warmth, this place looks super cosy and comfy even though it's an expensive place and I love that lol. 😍 The vibes of the entire place, just exquisite. 👌

Seriously you did an excellent job on this and has become my favorite build Deli! I didn't think I liked Mid Century...it was always a joke with my siblings. My favorite room in the house is the entry lounge...it is breathtaking!
Pro tip: if you can't/don't download CC, there's a lot of art on the gallery that simmers have made using the paint from reference that gives you a massive selection of modern and more interesting art. My favorite creators are Strudletoaster, Fruitloops40, and Holyshmowow

Mid-Mod came up in the 1950s! for those wanting to look into it, shes right about it being post WWII but got the decade wrong in the script😊

I LOVE this build. All of it! My favorite rooms were the grand living room and the hallways. Really liked what you did with the courtyard as well. The house is private but with a lot of light.

This is fantastic! I would love to live in a place like this, but I agree it's too large for me 😂 also, would you consider building the original Parent Trap movie house? It would take some research as it wasn't an actual house but I would love to see it. It's also MCM style. 😊
