- I've had a love/hate relationship with Muff style pedals. But that is in the past with the ThorpyFX Fallout Cloud When they're in the zone, they're in the ZONE. But a lot of the times they are not. The legend that is Adrian Thorpe solved this problem by adding a powerful eq. Making Muff tones work with any guitar and amp combo.

Huge tones. This and the Wren and Cuff Box of War (original large enclosure version) are the two best Muffs available these days. After playing one the others all sound like toys in comparison.
Killer! Sounds both thick and focused!
All fuzz boxes should have tone (controls) in my opinion. Sadly, they're a rarity. This one sounds great. This is not one of those bee's in a can fuzzes. It has girth, wool and punch. Precisely what I want a fuzz to sound like. Yea, It's a keeper.
I am not a fuzz guy ( however ) this one is different. It's one-of-the few that has Note-clarity and Cuts-thru in a band mix. I use a Barber Gain Changer SR > Fulltone OCD > Thorpy Fallout Cloud & typically just hit the muff with the Gain Changer. I can get Gilmour, Santana & Iommi tones from a Strat. oNe LovE from NYC
If you had to pick just one between this and the JAM Eureka, which one would you choose? For reference, I have the Boss FZ-1w and it’s the first fuzz I’ve ever really loved other than Octavia style fuzzes of which I have more than my share. Thanks in advance!
Oh man, that's a tough one simply because they're totally different pedals. This is muff, the Eureka is fuzz face and muff and sounds very different. If you're going for classic muff I'd say Fallout Cloud, if you're open to a new sound get the Eureka.
@@SashaIvantic well crap. Now I have to get both of them.
Nice Eastern atmosphere
I wish my wife's muff was as tasty as this 😜😂
I wish that too
