My exact copy of my original Patti Play Pal doll is in his collection! So happy to see her and all the dolls. I wasn't aware that they made a Larger Sized Shirley Temple doll, loved seeing her as well, and finding out about her as well. Magnificent collection! ❤

I bought my firat Patty Playpal at a thrift store yesterday!! Greg's collection is an awesome tool to use as a reference for restoring my doll. I am very lucky because she is actually in very good condition!! Big score for the find!!

So, my sister and I were reminiscing about Christmas past and we both remembered our “big dolls” as the best gift of our childhood. We did not remember the name Patti PlayPal but Google lead us to this video and we are happy to see that our memories were pretty clear. Sadly, our dolls were actively played with and did not survive but thank you for this video.

I don’t have Patty anymore but we have a home movie of me at age three opening up my Christmas doll. She was as big as me!

About 50 years ago my Mama got me my very first Patty Playpal doll, she had long brown hair and blue eyes like me,Mama got her at a yard sale,I had her for a long time until my cousin sat on her and broke her up pretty bad, she had to throw my baby doll away, never have I cried so much and being 60 years old, I'll find one again before I die, Very Sad, MISS Sandra

Wow, that's some collection! I have a vintage African American version of a Walk with Me doll. It is coded U2, which I believe means that she was manufactured by the Uneeda doll company. Do you know anything about Uneeda?

I collect and restore patti playpals also. I was gifted one today all original and it looks as if she was just taken out of the box, with her hat inside a hatbox. the only other dolls that I like out there were the master piece dolls, but sadly they went out of business also. I am so jealous of his collection

OMG what an awesome collection! When I was a little girl, I wanted a Patty Playpal so much, but my dad was in the military (and NOT an officer) so we were kind of poor, and my folks couldn't afford them. I also wanted a Chatty Cathy, and couldn't get one at the time.

One word advice from a long time doll collector/restoration don't put plastic bags over your doll's head. It will cause a reaction to the vinyl causing stickiness over time.

Where’s all the peters? So idk why this was in my feed but I knew what these are, my aunt had them and they freaked me the fuck right out, I completely lost my mind because they scared the everloving fuck out of me because my aunt stood them up in a extra room that she forgot to clean out for me and my sister, my sister was two at the time and I was three, so when I opened the door I was face to face with a doll the same size as me and i wasn’t use to dolls that were my size I was use to baby dolls or small dolls so I had a full sensory overload and ran screaming to my mom, my sister knocked them over because she was too little to pick them up
He does have a couple Peters in the other room but Patti is his main focus. Thanks for watching!

Hi! I sow will like to know if G Ortiz can fix my Patty play pall doll... I believe I payed $10 dollars with all her documentation but she has a problem... her frontal hair is falling out completely only the front hair...her back hair is completely fine doesn’t fall off... now if is okay to ask you how and where you can fixed my doll or if there is something I can do to fix her hair please let me know tank’s....... oh!😲 by the way I have a aunt who passed away that lived in ENSENADA BAJA CALIFORNIA MEXICO 🇲🇽 and she has’’‘ well!.. now her daughter has a ‘Patty play pall doll’ light plastic and way taller than the regular size doll I believe she is 3” feet and 39” inches tall if am not mistaken, she is tall my aunt always said that she was going to put that doll for me in her testament.... but I haven’t been to Ensenada since she pass away but I will pick her up my cousin said she’s your doll come and get it.... now maybe she’s a fake doll or reproduction or something but all I know she is a taller “patty play pall” doll mark in her back neck and also in her back torso with a round stamp....if you know anything please let me know I will really appreciated any kind of help or advice tank’s!!! “”Please excuse my spelling” I no is terrible.
