I really wanted the dad and the ghost shark to live happily ever after in the clouds. They tried to hide the sexual tension between them but it was too powerful.
The reality is that the movie was made by a group of friends in their spare time. The budget was completely non-existent ($300 Canadian, $216 US). It was never made to entertain the masses, it was just silly fun. It was filmed when the water was very cold. Everyone involved was very dedicated to the personal project. Brett Kelly's "My Fair Zombie" was my favourite of all the fun project films he has done. A stage musical was made after the fact due to the interest.

It stars a hamhanded and confusing political message about Donald Trump, some “not all men” messaging, a PG lesbian sex scene between two obviously straight actresses, costume design that looks like it was made by a middle schooler, and more!

Ooo I love bad shark movies. I recommend “6-headed Shark Attack” it’s campy, has an alright story, and the location it was filmed at is gorgeous. But If you want a fever dream movie that will scar you for life I recommend “House Shark”. It’s horrible, homophobic, racist, and extremely lewd. But It’s funny in a sick and twisted way.
Fun fact: "chef" and "chief" are derived from the same French word for "head" being borrowed at different contact points with Norman French. "Hail to the chef" was amateur pun hour that stumbled into a historical linguistics joke.

I had a teacher that always said in order to get good art production in a movie, you need two out of the three: time, money, and people. If you have no money but lots of time and a lot of people on your team, you can accomplish a lot. But if you don't have much time, you'd better be ready to spend a lot, and so on. This looks like they had a one person crew working with a 20 dollar budget to get the props ready in a weekend.🤷♀️

35:35 really got me because at no point outside of a young adult novel for kids 13 and younger has anyone ever unironically used “for crying out loud” in dialogue
They could have solved the “go one without me!” scene by having the falling girl running in front and the other girl running past her as she falls. Then running girl could have said “get up we have to keep going!” without stopping and the girl on the ground could have said “I’ll meet you at your car” as she was getting up/checking for injuries. That way it still splits them up without stopping the action especially if she hurt her ankle or something and couldn’t run as fast

I had a teacher that always said in order to get good art production in a movie, you need two out of the three: time, money, and people. If you have no money but lots of time and a lot of people on your team, you can accomplish a lot. But if you don't have much time, you'd better be ready to spend a lot, and so on. This looks like they had a one person crew working with a 20 dollar budget to get the props ready in a weekend.🤷♀️
I feel attacked by even the title. I love this movie so much. I laughed literally the whole way through. I've tried to get a tattoo of the shark and of VelociPastor but no artist around where i live will do it 😭

They could have solved the “go one without me!” scene by having the falling girl running in front and the other girl running past her as she falls. Then running girl could have said “get up we have to keep going!” without stopping and the girl on the ground could have said “I’ll meet you at your car” as she was getting up/checking for injuries. That way it still splits them up without stopping the action especially if she hurt her ankle or something and couldn’t run as fast
