Great info, thanks Anth. I’m chasing a similar problem on a 150 1KD. P0200 code and very rough idle. I’ll post an update when I figure out the cause 👍
Thanks for the feedback on the 120 Prado with the flat spot. Tough to call out the ECM being faulty.

Hi. great videos, I did subscribe. I have a 1kd hilux. Turbo packed up, and the car also has a misfire . Turbo fixed and now it still missfires, code is set to injector no 1. injector was tested and working fine. Any ideas.

@@Fourby4Diesel I wish, Yesterday i did diagnostic again, no fault codes, started it, no faults codes, i started it again, had the revs at about 1800 for a while, it was smoking blueish grey, i thought maybe still from the turbo oil residue, it seem like the misfire got better and then i heard it, grrrrrrrr, switch off the engine immediately. Stripped the cover again remove injector number 1, own my camera, crack accross piston, valve bent, sleeve pitted like it was happening for years.
@@Fourby4Diesel Thanks for help appreciate it. I just did not think anything this serious was going on. when i was driving it only started smoking greyish blue, no power and i could feel misfire. no sounds, no noises, nothing.
It's disappointing that even to this day people can't just help others without expecting something in return. We aren't all fortunate enough to be able to throw away $ just to be in a VIP help group. Some of us are struggling just to survive. Especially after using all current savings to do a full EGR and manifold clean as per these video's and hours of researching for the stuff not contained in the videos to complete a job. Not to mention, not all of us are lucky enough to be able to work at full capacity anymore due to a long term work injury and have far less than the average income to live on. It's just so disheartening. I don't know of any other FB group that asks for money just to join.
