Gilbert Alexander Pontes Burns, is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist and submission grappler who currently competes in the welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). As a grappler, Burns is a three-time World Champion and World Cup gold medalist.

I do both, i feel wrestling is more dominant but bjj is more fun and bjj makes me feel better prepared for a situation in the streets

Their fighting styles are respective of their backgrounds.
BJJ is about finishing your opponents- Hence why Gilbert is so aggressive always looking of the finish
Wrestling is about controlling your opponent -Hence why Kamaru is so enduring, always looking to dominate his opponent.

It’s either burns by decision or burns by finish in the second round (early) . I honestly think burns gets it done. Otherwise I agree with gamesportsandmore, it’s gonna be us man in the clinch doing what he always does

Became a fan after the Woodley fight, excited to see you and Usman fight. This can be taken to the ground, and it's pretty even, Durniho with the submissions but I do feel Usman will have more strength, if it's on the hands, Usman has less pressure. Our coach teaches us many takedowns, which we can apply to the BJJ we learn, submission wrestling is by far the best in my opinion because you have the takedowns of wrestling combined with the finishing of jits , and if you have good cardio, I believe this makes you nearly impossible to beat, Khabib is one of the best submission wrestlers of all time, and look what he did to top level competitors
If a fighter taps. Should be brought back to middle of the ring to get finished mortal combat style.

Jujitsu is amazing too, but the mentality is a little different (relaxed)

Oss!!!! If you don't know Jiujitsu you will eventually lose to Jiujitsu. You have to have a foundation at least. Look at Israel and Gaetjhe. Gaetjhes wrestling credentials made people not try and take him down, but finally when he got taken down he looked like he never trained Jiujitsu at all. Israel has the foundation and is able to play anti Jiujitsu.
The difference between Izzy and Justin is that Izzy has been doing jujitsu since 2010 and Justin said it himself that he has never done jiujutsu and only focused on wrestling
@@rickstory5040 I know that. It's what I'm saying. Not having Jiujitsu was the undoing of a great fighter in his biggest opportunity. Izzy has the understanding of Jiujitsu and can use it to stay standing enough to show his greatest skill.

With the rules wrestling but Jiujitsu with no rules is the best.
Kamaru will try and clinch Gilbert the whole fight because he won’t want to take him down because of submission and won’t want to stand with him because of his ko power and power leg kicks and relentless pressure
