that commander jerga lost his wife thats the shell giving custom. that's his story of losing the loved one has the broken shells as the symbol of love or proposing. that's why he returned the whole shell back while killing him so he could be together with his wife in after life.
There were hints in the battle with the hero academy that Lay was Kanon when he used the sword that Kanon's sources could only wield. The commander of the Demon army with the scar is actually Emilia's father

So it’s not that there is a rule that the sword cannot be used outside the castle it’s just that to actually use the god of destructions power anos needs to have that gods “body” close. And probably because delsgade it’s the body and the sword it’s the magic of that god, both have basically the same properties and anos can’t use the sword to delete a “rule” that comes from the body. I’m not really sure how to articulate the actual WN explanation but it’s something like that haha

You think so??? He sounds EXACTLY the same in every role I've heard him in. Yeah he's epic as Goblin Slayer and Seiya in Cautious Hero but I'm worried he's going to just sound the same as always and that he won't deliver the cocky epic lines like Anos current VA does. Hope I'm wrong.
This show was rather refreshing for someone so OP and the Demon King to actually be a really nice guy and actual the true hero. He wanted to unite families, help others find their path and he didnt have any malicious towards anyone no matter how much they slander him. Except for that teacher that went after his Mom, that really set him off. Speaking of which his parents were great too. They decided no matter what they would love him and did just that. I dont know what comes next hard to think how they top the first season at least threat wise but I didnt notice Lay was in front of Anos at the Sword Tourny and that masked guy showed up. Was that him or someone else? I guess we will find out.
Anos is known as lion of destruction he can destroy 100's of universes with just a blink of an eye(not full power) Even in the WN he has not fought seriously with his power yet.
Thanks for reacting on this series. Actually whole thing you see was just prologue of story about Anos. And Demon King still not use even 1% of his true powers. His enemy's in next season would be more and more powerfull than Jerga each. Second season was already anounce and it would be 2 cours (20+ episodes) and most likely in 2022. Also its not his mom he see, but his wife and son that was been killed on war. Fusion between Misha and Sasha called "Aisha" in original LN. They took second letter from each name + "sha" from both.

A little Trivia: What Jerga saw before his last demise is his wife and son, which are killed by Anos himself. They got caught in the war and were going to be killed by the hand of the Mazoku (demon clan), as they are dying and Anos found them. He decides to kill both and cast the Reincarnation spell (Silica) on both of them, so they would be reborn in a different time where it is already peace adding more reason why Anos seek peace. This is also the reason why Anos HAD a single shell necklace and it’s the one that Anos gave to Jerga after finishing him. It’s not LAYS but Jerga’s wife's necklace.
Yes, Season 2 has been confirmed. Also, if you want something like this, you know, Isekai, OP Main Character, not too serious like some of the other anime, but with still enough substance, I would suggest watching The Assassin Aristocrat. It's new and fresh, and it's really good, a tad bit different than others. Full name: The world's best assassin to reincarnate in another world as an aristocrat.
The reason why evasmana was able to slice jerga was because anos summoned his castle over sky. Any place where his castle that place is under the territory of anos. Anos destroyed the order that jerga (holy magic) will not be affected by holy sword (evasmana). Thats how evasmana cut jerga

Sad to see it end again. SEASON 2 INCOMING!!!!!!!! Even with the VA change, we gonna be hella lucky to be alive for this next year of anime. Demon King Misfit, for being about a ridiculously OP MC, turned out to be special to me. I almost dropped it after the 2nd episode, because I like drama and struggle for my protagonists, but, thank my Goddess, I stuck with it, and it will always be loved by me. Also, Misha is a top rank, Roxy-tier Best Girl. Not many figures I would consider buying, buy Misha.....yup. I would like her sweet, delightful face to stare back at me from my desk. The anime world is gonna lose it's damned mind collectively once season 2 gets scheduled!

Fun fact: kanon was never powerful enough to kill anos. Anos beat him every time kanon faced him coz he had 7 sources, he got resurrected everytime he was beat to a pulp. Evasmana didn't change name of anos. It just changed the fate of anos to be bron as demon king. Anos's name was changed by altering memories of 7 demon emperors and they told their descendants that the name is "avos dilhevia"
Anos sword Venuzdonoa can only be summoned in his castle that's why you seen the castle he can summon it anywhere he wants. Also Anos wasn't using any of his real power because it would easily destroy the universe and he can only use 20% of his real power anymore than that it will destroy his body because it's not strong enough to hold his true power. Even 2000 years ago he sealed his own power so he wasn't 100% back then either.
No, Kanon was at 100% at this time since unlike Anos he: 1) Has far greater mastery over Source magic and was able to reincarnate into body without single drop of his blood with full power unlike Anos and this whole thing was been stated directly into LN. 2) Live from very beginning for a 16 years without using "Krust" spell which Anos use to made himself 16 years old month after he born. Its just Anos always been far stronger than Kanon and could kill him and erase whole humanity in any moment he want.
Follow up on second season, while we are getting one still there will be a new voice actor for Anos seeing as the one in this season messed up big time irl and was basically fired. I don't know if they've confirmed his replacement yet but we are still getting a season 2 just with a new Japanese VA for Anos is all.

The light novel is so better than the anime. The anime is rushed and missed some really, REALLY important parts. If you get time y'all should check out the light novel. Anos is a good guy. He used resurrection magic even on his enemies in the great war so they get together with their love ones next life.

Ugh this show is soo damn good but, I am sooo bummed about Season 2. It's confirmed, but the VA is replaced(regardless of whether people thing he should have quit or got fired for infidelity, I think what happens between a couple in their home life has nothing to do with their jobs). But anyway the voice actor was PERFECT, and the new VA is the guy from Cautious Hero/Goblin Slayer. Who is absolutely great but he's got one of those voices that 90% of the time he sounds exactly the same and I'm worried that a new voice will change the series or just not be the same. Anos' cockiness and delivery are a HUGE part of why this series is so awesome and why it works so well imo. Fingers crossed 🤞.
It sounds 90% of the time exactly the same, just like the King of Harem does, but with even less change to the tone of voice (quite gifted at that, as noted by his rly girly screams as Bell Cranel, which deviate from his standard types of voices like Kirito, or the chad voice that is Sora from NGNL)

@@leonardolonghi3472 From what I understand, Delsgade was made from the body of the god of destruction (after Anos killed him) and his divine authority was transformed into Venuzdonoa. So it’s not that there is a rule that the sword cannot be used outside the castle it’s just that to actually use the god of destructions power anos needs to have that gods “body” close. And probably because delsgade it’s the body and the sword it’s the magic of that god, both have basically the same properties and anos can’t use the sword to delete a “rule” that comes from the body. I’m not really sure how to articulate the actual WN explanation but it’s something like that haha

You think so??? He sounds EXACTLY the same in every role I've heard him in. Yeah he's epic as Goblin Slayer and Seiya in Cautious Hero but I'm worried he's going to just sound the same as always and that he won't deliver the cocky epic lines like Anos current VA does. Hope I'm wrong.
This show was rather refreshing for someone so OP and the Demon King to actually be a really nice guy and actual the true hero. He wanted to unite families, help others find their path and he didnt have any malicious towards anyone no matter how much they slander him. Except for that teacher that went after his Mom, that really set him off. Speaking of which his parents were great too. They decided no matter what they would love him and did just that. I dont know what comes next hard to think how they top the first season at least threat wise but I didnt notice Lay was in front of Anos at the Sword Tourny and that masked guy showed up. Was that him or someone else? I guess we will find out.
Anos parents are treasures and their reaction to him bringing girls home are priceless.

Thanks for reacting on this series. Actually whole thing you see was just prologue of story about Anos. And Demon King still not use even 1% of his true powers. His enemy's in next season would be more and more powerfull than Jerga each. Second season was already anounce and it would be 2 cours (20+ episodes) and most likely in 2022.

What Jerga saw before his last demise is his wife and son, which are killed by Anos himself.
They got caught in the war and were going to be killed by the hand of the Mazoku (demon clan), as they are dying and Anos found them. He decides to kill both and cast the Reincarnation spell (Silica) on both of them, so they would be reborn in a different time where it is already peace adding more reason why Anos seek peace.
This is also the reason why Anos HAD a single shell necklace and it’s the one that Anos gave to Jerga after finishing him. It’s not LAYS but Jerga’s wife's necklace.
Anos also casted silicia on jerga so he can meet his family after reincarnation

Also, if you want something like this, you know, Isekai, OP Main Character, not too serious like some of the other anime, but with still enough substance, I would suggest watching The Assassin Aristocrat. It's new and fresh, and it's really good, a tad bit different than others.

Demon King Misfit, for being about a ridiculously OP MC, turned out to be special to me. I almost dropped it after the 2nd episode, because I like drama and struggle for my protagonists, but, thank my Goddess, I stuck with it, and it will always be loved by me.
Also, Misha is a top rank, Roxy-tier Best Girl. Not many figures I would consider buying, buy Misha.....yup. I would like her sweet, delightful face to stare back at me from my desk.

Anos sword Venuzdonoa can only be summoned in his castle that's why you seen the castle he can summon it anywhere he wants.
Also Anos wasn't using any of his real power because it would easily destroy the universe and he can only use 20% of his real power anymore than that it will destroy his body because it's not strong enough to hold his true power. Even 2000 years ago he sealed his own power so he wasn't 100% back then either.
Kanon actually was only at 10% power, because of him being reincarnated.

No, Kanon was at 100% at this time since unlike Anos he:
1) Has far greater mastery over Source magic and was able to reincarnate into body without single drop of his blood with full power unlike Anos and this whole thing was been stated directly into LN.
2) Live from very beginning for a 16 years without using "Krust" spell which Anos use to made himself 16 years old month after he born.
Its just Anos always been far stronger than Kanon and could kill him and erase whole humanity in any moment he want.
Follow up on second season, while we are getting one still there will be a new voice actor for Anos seeing as the one in this season messed up big time irl and was basically fired. I don't know if they've confirmed his replacement yet but we are still getting a season 2 just with a new Japanese VA for Anos is all.

Ugh this show is soo damn good but, I am sooo bummed about Season 2. It's confirmed, but the VA is replaced(regardless of whether people thing he should have quit or got fired for infidelity, I think what happens between a couple in their home life has nothing to do with their jobs).
But anyway the voice actor was PERFECT, and the new VA is the guy from Cautious Hero/Goblin Slayer. Who is absolutely great but he's got one of those voices that 90% of the time he sounds exactly the same and I'm worried that a new voice will change the series or just not be the same. Anos' cockiness and delivery are a HUGE part of why this series is so awesome and why it works so well imo. Fingers crossed 🤞.
It sounds 90% of the time exactly the same, just like the King of Harem does, but with even less change to the tone of voice (quite gifted at that, as noted by his rly girly screams as Bell Cranel, which deviate from his standard types of voices like Kirito, or the chad voice that is Sora from NGNL)
