I love that Sukuna is such a compelling villain who is also JUST evil. No sympathetic backstory, no grey morals. He is just pure malice, self-interest, charisma, and overwhelming power.

Then Geto stole it before JJK 0, and Satoru retrieved it after the death of his friend. Yeah, cuz we've seen what jogo can do, he's REALLY strong, but he's just gotten packed up by the literal best in the verse. I think jogo takes it tho, cuz of his domain. Toji, especially zombie toji, can't stop the domain's can't miss attack, so he'd have to tank it or maunally over-power it. It took Toji a while, with Playful Cloud intact, and Megumi stopping the can't miss to widdle down Dagon's HP. And jogo is stronger than dagon, with unavoidable flame attacks.... yeah I just don't see it happening for Toji. A fully prepared Toji is pretty dead-even, and the whole... "if it hit" attack (just in case anime only people read this), Toji could probably dodge too.

And that person was clearly stated to not be on Toji’s level at the time. Also Jogo was never really known to be too intelligent either. I don’t know if it’s stomp territory, cuz disaster curses can take a lot of punishment. I’d say out of 10 fights I’d give Toji 7/10.

This arc to me, as a manga reader, is a hall of fame shonen arc. Up there with Frieza Saga, Soul Society, Chuunin Exams, Dark Tournament, etc. It's the first new shonen arc to break into that status.

You guys definitely did pick up on them being injured possibly affected Toji's selection (or it could be sensing the ability Megumi has). In the manga it actually had a line when Jogo attacked where it explained how awesome Naobito was and then ended almost like it was mocking him by saying: "But that was when he had both arms"
The two girls only survived jogos attack because they used one the girl's phone camera ability to escape. Jogos showing up right after the octopus dragon got killed and Toji left with megumi is just the WORST luck 💀💀💀
Or the best - I'm thinking that Toji might have saved Megumi there. Since Megumi would have likely become the first target for Jogo to take out, being the only one who can deploy a Domain

Playful cloud(weapon) is quite unique, because its power is dependant on raw strength of user instead of curse energy level. Thats why it was given to Maki in the first place, and thats why Toji took it back.
in the manga they explained when toji fought dagon that playful cloud the nunchunks maki had their power come from the wielder raw strength thats why its so strong on toji his body is just built different

Gojo is the only character in the series aside from Sukuna that is aware of the fact that Sukuna has already made a pact with Yuji. Gojo just doesn’t know the details of the pact due to one of the condition’s being that Yuji forgets about the pact. One of the other conditions is that Sukuna cannot harm other people during his brief time of full control over Yuji’s body. However it’s Sukuna we are talking about and I’m plenty sure he has all sorts of loopholes and contingency plans and fucked up ideas lmao

Bruh in this arc we have seen all the scaling of jjk from A to Z. It started with Nobara, than the hand guy outclassed her in every way. Than Nanami came and destroyed him. After that Dagon came and towered over Nanami. Toji and Jogo are leagues above the rest of course. And then comes the pinnacle of jjk,lord HimKuna who makes everyone else look like fodder. His presence is so overwhelming that even though we felt hopeless when Jogo toasted our friends, he makes Jogo look like a sweet little angel.
Damn! This episode was everything I wanted and more. From seeing Toji be an absolute beast and bodying Dagon to Sukuna being the monster of legend just brutally slicing and dicing everything. Such damn good characters and it really shows the difference in power between those two and everyone else. But why couldn’t Toji wait a second longer until Jogo got there 🤦🏻♂️ I can’t buy that we lost Nanami, Naobito and Maki like that. And what’s with that deal Sukuna offered Jogo? 🤨 Don’t know what’s going on and I love that. Can’t wait to see more of the madness that’s to come 👹
Of course Naobito said Toji is ghost. Not because he's already dead but for Zenin clan, Toji is a nightmare ghost that haunting them when he still alive. He can annihilated Zenin clan whenever he want, but he choose to ignore them.
There were so many highlights in this episode but that one where Jogo burns everyone was the best one for me, Naobito trying to put a fight was sad but still epic he was fucked up from the fight with Dagon and Nanami damn... Morgan about to be in disbelief
We've obviously known from his introduction that Sukuna is a terrible person, but I feel like the twins' deaths really, REALLY cement that. It's not "oh, this guy is a huge asshole" anymore, but instead "oh, this guy is completely and utterly ruthless." I hate him, but I'd be lying if I said he wasn't an excellent villain, and Junichi Suwabe is killing it with the performance (Such whiplash from a role like Victor from Yuri on Ice lol). Excited and nervous to see what transpires next week!

Playful cloud(weapon) is quite unique, because its power is dependant on raw strength of user instead of curse energy level. Thats why it was given to Maki in the first place, and thats why Toji took it back.

Gojo is the only character in the series aside from Sukuna that is aware of the fact that Sukuna has already made a pact with Yuji. Gojo just doesn’t know the details of the pact due to one of the condition’s being that Yuji forgets about the pact. One of the other conditions is that Sukuna cannot harm other people during his brief time of full control over Yuji’s body. However it’s Sukuna we are talking about and I’m plenty sure he has all sorts of loopholes and contingency plans and fucked up ideas lmao

Bruh in this arc we have seen all the scaling of jjk from A to Z. It started with Nobara, than the hand guy outclassed her in every way. Than Nanami came and destroyed him. After that Dagon came and towered over Nanami. Toji and Jogo are leagues above the rest of course. And then comes the pinnacle of jjk,lord HimKuna who makes everyone else look like fodder. His presence is so overwhelming that even though we felt hopeless when Jogo toasted our friends, he makes Jogo look like a sweet little angel.

Damn! This episode was everything I wanted and more. From seeing Toji be an absolute beast and bodying Dagon to Sukuna being the monster of legend just brutally slicing and dicing everything. Such damn good characters and it really shows the difference in power between those two and everyone else. But why couldn’t Toji wait a second longer until Jogo got there 🤦🏻♂️ I can’t buy that we lost Nanami, Naobito and Maki like that. And what’s with that deal Sukuna offered Jogo? 🤨 Don’t know what’s going on and I love that. Can’t wait to see more of the madness that’s to come 👹

We've obviously known from his introduction that Sukuna is a terrible person, but I feel like the twins' deaths really, REALLY cement that. It's not "oh, this guy is a huge asshole" anymore, but instead "oh, this guy is completely and utterly ruthless."
I hate him, but I'd be lying if I said he wasn't an excellent villain, and Junichi Suwabe is killing it with the performance (Such whiplash from a role like Victor from Yuri on Ice lol).
