It used to be a great degree until Universities tried to monopolize on head count by reducing the semester length to 8-10 weeks. For references in the 80's and 90's a graduate semester lasted 16 weeks. In those 16 weeks you learned from professors with 20+ years of real world experience and 10+ years of teaching. The term length allowed students time to digest complex topics, apply them to their careers, and share their experiences in class. Today this isn't the case. Most semesters are accelerated at 8-10 weeks. If you have to settle for an accelerated program attend a public university on the eastern side of the US. Their schools are top notch and generally don't gouge as much as those in the West and Midwest.
