My 2017 v6 hit 130mph in no time at all.. The v6 is a nice car.. And the gas mileage is great.. I'm not out here trying to race people, just enjoying the car I have.. And it's a convertible too..

The gas mileage, the price tag....for over 300 hp considering that Trans Ams and SS's barely pushed that in the previous generation is pretty amazing. Most people don't know by looking at it that it's a v6, either. And there's still plenty of people who want to race, regardless lol

Your figures are off for the 2012 V6. 2016+ gets 335 hp/ 284 tq. 2012 gets 323hp/ 278. I have a 2017 V6 RS personally. I travel for work and have to maintain a certain level of insurance. No way would I be able to afford the gas and insurance premiums on a V8 at my salary. So I got a V6 lol. That said, getting 30 mpg out of a car with 300hp+ is awesome. Maybe when my job drops the insurance requirements and I no longer have to travel, I'll spring for one though.

Make sure the high pressure fuel pump has been changed / make sure your catalytic converter’s / pipes are good make sure your heat and a/c works . Timing link spark plugs.
I have a 2012 SS Camaro, 6 speed manual transmission, V8. I like the taillights but I do not like the fake hood vent on the front. It has 430 horsepower right now but I may add more to it.

These modern v6s are faster than any Mustang gt 2004 and earlier . Ported intake, bigger throttle body, gears , catless with a good tune should make 300+whp.
Traction control off, which in the Camaro, you can do completely. But if you do that and end up pulling a Mustang straight into a crowd, you're on your own.

I was able to get 26mpg on my 2012 SS.

Sick rims on the V8 though. I hate aftermarket rims, but these are tasteful AF.
