I think u didn't cleared that we need to create a fabric resource first on Azure with capacity settings. After that u can enable only.. Also for more tenats u need to have capacity administration also
I've enabled Fabric but I don't see the persona switcher in the bottom left corner. So I can't access anything beyond the legacy Power BI stuff. Have you heard of anyone else coming across this issue?
Two possible things here. Just underneath where you can enable fabric for your tenant there is an option to allow or disallow fabric trials within your tenant. You will want to make sure this is enabled. Once this is turned on you should be able to start a fabric trial and you should be able to see the persona switcher
@@manuelquintana2225 Thanks for the quick response. The only option I see is 'Users can create Fabric items with new capabilities in Microsoft Fabric. This setting can be managed at both the tenant and the capacity levels.' I have enabled this. I don't see anything else that I can enable. And the workspace I've created is set to the Fabric trial.
I do also see the 'Users can try Microsoft Fabric paid features'. But this appears to have been Enabled by default when I enabled the Microsoft Fabric preview.
Microsoft has a huge government and defense cloud network: you have to lead with "oh fabric current availability is only for commercial cloud everyone else will have to wait"
You are correct the Government Cloud Customers (GCC) as always will need to wait until this goes GA to then possibly start to see features become available. Right now there are some elements from security perspective that are still in the works while in preview so these need to be finalized before the hitting the gov customers. Unfortuantely this isnt new, GCC will always come second.
