Just in case people didn't read the tiny manual that came with the filter; you'll have to open up the filter, take out the active carbon block and remove the plastic wrapping around it (Not shown here in the video) otherwise you wont be filtering anything and might risk damaging the the filter itself.
Hi there, I had recently purchased an Elegoo Mars 3 Pro. I had assembled it all properly and how it is supposed to be used, however, I have been having unsuccessful prints. When printing out the demo prints on the Elegoo Mars 3 Pro system, all i have when done is just a circle of dried up wax, not the actual rook. Also, my prints aren't even sticking to the build plates, only the VAT OR FEP (whatever its called). I am using Siraya Tech 500ml Blue Resin if that helps Thank you :)
Check your exposure and retraction settings against the community recommendations for that resin. Also, try recalibrating the bed leveling with only 1 sheet of paper (the build surface may be offset to far from the LCD).
Is it just me or is the leveling part a bit confusing... I did this step by step how you said but when I go to print I get a grinding sound.. Which is apparently when the bed is still trying to push down on the screen.. Is there another step AFTER the homing and tightening the screws ?
Why are you using "3-4 sheets" of the manual here? How thick are these? You've leveled your Elegoo Mars 3 with just one sheet (as it is usually done) in your older video.
@@Just_Print Hm, interesting. I always (all two times I had to do it) leveled my 3 Pro using just one sheet of office paper (80 gsm) and it worked perfectly fine.
Exactly! I wish someone was able to clarify everything here by specifying this key piece of information.: For the very first layer of your print, there should be some distance betwen the build plate and the top surface of the Resin Tanks clear plastic base. my intuition tells me it should be a gap of approximately half the height of each layer. however, if you use the 1 sheet of paper method, you seem to get an interference 1 layer height. I guess it is just up to each person to study the process enough to draw their own conclusions. But it would be great if some professional or ELegoo Company Technical personel could tell us what the optimal range of gap or clearance is for first layer since it is vey confusing and some engineer types like to control their efforts in an attempt to suceed the first try.

I have that as well, did you solve it?
@@benschwikkard7006 After you do the calibration , go backwards in menu and set Z .

some times the FEP film sits higher off the screen, so to compensate add more thickness. or you can just set the offset to start higher

Great video thank you
Which air purifiers are those? They don't seem to match with elegoo or anycubic ones.
Too confusing. Why multiple pages. How can you possibly know the correct distance? Why not just use the tray with the fep?

Not Elegoo thinking its a flex to put the default language as Chinese, lmfao.
I bought this and I regret it. Because it's so small ... But for now I'll enjoy what I can do with it. Thank you for the video!
most resin printers will be vary smal
the bigger ones cost allot more yet will be smal compared to other printers
