Cannibal corpse - Scourge of Iron dual guitar cover redo (w/solo)

I am certainly doing more redos of some of my Cannibal Corpse covers…Scourge of Iron has been at the top of that list for a while now. Well that wait is over. I wanted to hear what it would be like with the tone I have now and I can safely say I think I managed to do a damn good job on the tone for this one.
This song is just fucking mean and is still one of the heaviest riffs I’ve ever heard (that says a lot since I do listen to say, Black tongue). It’s even better live.
Also part of the redo, I actually managed to attempt the solo (sorry for no vid on that one, it’s 1:45am atm, I’m not doing that now. Plus it’s difficult to recreate a Pat solo, let alone pull it off the first time). First half was pretty well there, the long run wasn’t 100% perfect but I think I managed to pull it off (the wah and some phase tripper helped a lot, got closer to that sound on the actual solo).
Guitar used: Solar V1.7FRC in G# standard (tuned from A# standard with Digitech Drop Pedal, D’addario 10-49+70)
Pick used: Tortex Sharp 1.35mm
Recording used: Focusrite Scarlett Solo through GarageBand then edited in Splice
