- Since they added ladders in game, I think it's high time we revisit the tiny 4x4 homes I made years ago!

*2 things that have/would change the whole tiny homes game:*
1. ladders ✅
2. bunk beds ❔❔❔
It should be easy now to make bunk beds as they have worked out the ladders!

MOBILE got bunkbeds!! I am livid about it... in their update that is essentially Tiny Living stuff, bunkbeds - but not for PC/console?! LIVID!!

I got SO confused by you going on about north facing windows, then I remembered you’re in the opposite hemisphere to me 😂 I was sat here thinking “surely south-facing would be sunnier?”. Which begs the question, what hemisphere is the sims world even in? Do hemispheres exist for the sims? This is what happens when I start thinking at night...
Winterfest is the Sims version of Christmas, which would place it in the northern hemisphere.

The standing desk is the best thing to happen for me in 2020! Equal parts loving the attitude it brings, and marvelling over how long you actually stand because I ain’t about that life!
Syara basically a desk you can pull up taller and you can work while standing up instead of sitting on a chair
@Syara Probably due the fact that standing is healthier instead of sitting(?); ofc, standing still the whole time isn't really good, but if you keep moving (stretching legs e.g.) then it's better than sitting. Plus, I would say that you feel more energetic if you stand! (I often feel sluggish after a longer period of sitting)
This is more my view on it, but I think more ppl share these thoughts
When my new office was built last year everyone got a standing desk. And now I’ve been stuck at home since March. I miss it so much.
@@vivaille_ Standing for long periods of time is also unhealthy, even if you are moving around a lot; the key is moderation so it's great to have an adjustable set-up, allowing you to take a break from either sitting or standing. :)
Syara I don’t have a desk at all, I just love that it’s gives James the freedom to bounce and move about! Even more personality on show and I love it! x

@@MsAngelique yes! Have been for a while, they shared it on their instagrams a few weeks ago.
Syara I mean for me (f17) it’s just that I get less tense when standing up and focus better! But other people (often older like 45+) it helps with back problems and health issues. Like chances of obesity are lowered and overall mood is better with less grumpiness/grogginess that one can get after sitting for too long.
During quarantine I’ve been able to stand during classes and find that I get a lot less bored and become more motivated.
@Syara minimizes back problems, yes! Also leg cramps. Great for restless legs, a less chance of blood clots in legs if sedentary or obese, and more energy overall. And nice for adhd or doing pomodoros for my can't focus peeps. You dont feel like youre gonna fly out of that chair from nervous energy.

I have A LOT of plants. There’s the four mini palm trees. They’re called “sponge bob and the other three.” Being the oldest, they r my favorites!
I also have three cactuses. One is named Mike, the other Spike, and the other Lola. A friend gave them to me as a gift (she knows how much I ADORE plants) These r a really recent addition to the family, I would say she gave them to me like two weeks ago.
I also have some of the ones you can harvest put in food. I can’t remember the name right now, but they look adorable. I got them little signs to put the names, but I haven’t put them up yet so I always forget the names. These are also one of the oldest, since I got them since they where seeds. I have them in the balcony because they need a lot of sunlight.
Then there’s Orchids.They r basically just really pretty flowers. I love them because they change the aesthetic of the room. They have yellow in the middle and white in the whole rest. I still need to decorate it’s soil with the colorful rocks. The rocks act as fertilizer but it also looks nice.
Imma go fast with the rest, because they’re just leafs. One is super light green, and it’s named Ricky. There’s a trio that are just your standard everyday plant.
I think that’s it.

Heh. In Sims 3 I made a 4x4 home. Door is on the 2nd tile from the left. On the right side, a 3-tile bathroom (toilet and shower), and the far spare tile is where the fridge goes. On the left, a single bed (head near the door) and a 1 tile dining table past the foot. Between the door and the bath, there's a sink. There's a chair at the dining table, and a Late Night trash chute between the chair and the fridge. Put a laptop on the table, make a Sim with Loner and Hates The Outdoors, and lock them in. Just these 16 tiles will let them do fine. If they have Computer Whiz or Writing they can make money, buy real estate, you know the drill.
It turned out great. You can size down hand basins once and they still work and don't look weird.

Can I ask a question? For anyone living in an apartment in Sydney, does there tend to be lots of spiders and bugs? I really wanna move to Sydney, Australia, but creepy crawlies really bother me!!
It depends where you live right now as to what you would think to be ‘a lot’. There’s some as there is with anywhere you live but I wouldn’t say that they’re everywhere and always around you. And the ones who tend to be in your house are tiny and won’t hurt you ☺️
Brittany P thank you so much for replying! Whenever I watch tv about australia, there’s always huge spiders 🕷. This has made me even more confident to move down under - 24 hour flight from uk to Sydney here I come (after COVID dies down obviously) thank you so much!!
@@alexm2685 Not going to lie to you, there are some spiders and bugs around, but the huge majority of them are harmless. The annual Bogong moth migration is probably the worst thing you can expect, but it's so over-the-top strange that you can almost forget to be creeped out - I lived with someone terrified of moths, and she managed to deal with it every year.
Actually, same question but for Canberra anyone? :) I'm european and applied for something there!
