I have had the pen for a while now, working just fine with the yoga7 .. but since a week it does recognise the tip less and less. BT Button still works... got a new battery, but it didnt change anything. the original shipped pen has none of this problems

That shouldn't be happening. If it's a brand new battery check if your pen falls under warranty. I don't have this issue with my pen yours might be having a defect

But what’s also surprising is that at one point my stylus started working, I managed to draw a couple of sketches, everything was fine. But suddenly, my driver started to lag a lot, I decided to restart my laptop, I didn’t change anything or turn it off, but my stylus stopped working normally again.. After that, I tried to connect my stylus again, but as before, the stylus was connected, but it didn’t work at all except for its buttons. I'm thinking about changing the batteries, but I don't think it will help much. but I can note that if I hold the top button for a long time, then after it blinks several times, a red light appears. I still don’t understand what it means. If it's dead, how does it still work? In addition, the drivers said that my stylus was charged to 65%, this raises a lot of questions for me.
Well it looks like the pen should work as it did for a short period. Look at the site of Lenovo to look for the latest drivers and software. Other than that I don't really have a good solution.
I looked it up on the Lenovo site and it is supported. You could buy the first active pen as an option when the yoga 520 came out so it will definitely work.

The precision pen 2 is optimized for tablets so I would choose that one over the Active Pen 2.

An AAAA battery. If you want to use the Bluetooth button you need to use a very tiny battery but they deliver it with the pen.

Well you can try the Lenovo forum or the r/Lenovo on Reddit. But is your problem with the button on top or is it something else?

your laptop might not support an active pen, ips (non pressure) touch is required

Your tablet supports the Lenovo Active Pen 3. But be careful cause Lenovo is really confusing with their product names .

If you have a 2 in 1 Lenovo laptop it should be compatible with the Active Pen 2. As long as it is a recent mode.l
