Yes, the Lambo tyres are still on my X-Bow. Funny, I had tried the others previously, I use them on several other cars, but just as you found, they don’t really cut the mustard on the X-Bow. Just goes to show it pays to experiment! Cool video, Jo. 😎👍🏁
the control tower is a great addition , i thought it was too big when i put it on my track, but it does fit in quite nicely, also added some lights too
Great Videos, glad to see another person in the hobby. As for why the Mercedes is the fastest car, Carrera motors can vary in performance. There can be a 2000rpm + or - between some motors. Aftermarket motors by NSR, Slot it, Predator are much more uniform and level the playing field. Also older Carrera chips sometimes had a fault that allows full power regardless of what the track power setting is. I.E. if you have the track set at 5, the chip is allowing level 10 full power to car. Also, once you get fairly proficient, try removing the rear magnets and leave the center magnets in. it will force you to drive the car and makes it more challenging and fun. Eventually you might be racing with no mags.
Thanks for the tips! Im coming to realize that there is a variance when it comes to Carrera stock motors like you mentioned. Im doing my best to tune all the cars and then make catalogue of best to not so best :)
great video.i have notcied the ktm xbow and mercedes, are much faster than my ferraris. i am just using stock tyres,the xbow seems to catch up and pass the ferraris in ghost mode, i start it in last place and it will catch up and pass the others.

@@IrrerasCarrera magnetic racing have some great lights, i use the two 4 light towers, they also do single towers as well

Cool Cars! I noticed the Red & White Mercedes won the Grinch Race over the Corvette. But it was Close too!
The Mercedes is a killer. will def be doing some time trials against my new Porches.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Its another way to do it. some cars are just naturally, out of the box, faster.
