    It's the people of the community not the brand that's the key. Brand should never try to change its community it should evolve.

    i'm only 30 second in but need to say this since i've been brainstorming ways to stay ahead as a business/brand in this age-
    this topic is SUPER important- especially when trying to build an online brand strategy during a time where AI is being mass adopted and normalized.
    emotional connection, community and culture are things that can NEVER be replaced by ai technology. i think many people will crave a sense of community and human-ness much more as we become more 'disconnected' during this advanced technological age

    I've watched this video twice and have received so many nuggets of knowledge. I've been a marketer for over 25 years and now I feel hopeful of the future of my company. It has even spark an idea of a community that's very personal to me, but was scared to taalk about. Thanks guys! 😍

      Yes, I built a small organic audience first for 3 years before I ever sold to them. When I did my books became bestsellers - law of reciprocity - exactly as this podcast interview says - building organic community is where it’s at!

    This is how we do it. We host house concerts and don't sell at all. People just get to know us and we have all the business we want, plus it just feels great to create events and places for people to connect.

    Community Marketing may or may not be successful depending upon who is leading it. ( It should be led by People Person who naturally inclided towards Building and Nurtuing the Relationships)

    Harley Davidson still does marketing, because their community is never big enough to sell enough motorcycles. He is contradictory when he says that. When you have a big community, you don't need anything else. To the contrary, without the marketing the community doesn't grow. Also, confusing brand equity and community building is wrong in my 20yrs of experience.

    • @felixsupreme22
      @felixsupreme22 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good point. I felt the disconnect there in that statement. Harley Davidson certainly does marketing and advertising. And have built much brand equity which they benefit from.
      Although I don't think the two aspects of marketing need be mutually exclusive, brand equity should not be confused with having a solid community, as you stated.
      Would love to hear a response from either of them to your comment!
