Thank you so much! You’ve made me blush haha I cringe when I hear my accent, it makes me laugh to think people find it soothing. Thank you so much for the support, you’re a huge inspiration for me learning how to knit and starting a podcast! 🥰🧶
Your hair is stunning and your FOs are amazing...as usual. My husband sat down while I was watching you and said “that sweater is impressive”. I was drooling while watching the footage of the yarn mill shop❤️🧶
great video!!! i luv knitting w my grandma, she died the last year and she rn is in my heart, she is a 4x wiiner of knitting cups around the world, wining a lot of money, she with her money bought houses for homeless and food for kids in africa, greetings from neuquen
First, thank you for the translation on the socks. I really appreciate it. The Marie Wallin sweater/jacket, it is a dream, just beautiful. Your hair turned out gorgeous.Thank you for showing the mill , the yarn and colors 🥰😘❤️🇨🇴thank you once again for your time.
I wanted to cast on the slippers for such a long time, but never did it. When I finally looked up the pattern I thought it was so easy, even though it was in Norwegian. When I started knitting on it, I had to rip back for three times, because every time something went wrong. I didn’t seem to understand the pattern well. So then I decided to watch your explanation and I realized I should have done that to begin with. It would have saved me so much time (and sleep 😂). Thank you so, so much for your explanation, it really made my day!! ❤❤❤
YES! I love watching Needles At The Ready. I literally LOL at least once per episode with them. They do have good banter. Your sweater is gorgeous! And love the hair too! Also, would LOVE to see an episode from the cabin!
I love your podcast. I have spent the last 2-3 weeks catching up on past episodes. You are the 1st one I have ever subscribed to and just did that. I loved seeing all your yarny goodness today. I love seeing photos of your country. I live in Colorado USA and grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming and Colorado. I love mountains. I am joining the stash along. Rustic wools are my favorite to work with and I avoid the superwash yarns since finding out how the process for it works. Thank you for doing this podcast.
Thank you for showing us so much heavenly stuff 🤩🤩. I do love your cardigan and the new hair! Have a good time at the cabin, I can't wait to see a glimp of it......
Thank you 🙏 sooo much for taking the time to translate the slipper pattern!!! I can’t wait to try them! They remind me of some commercially made slippers. Love the new look for summer! I was gushing over your acquisitions 🥰🤭 beautiful yarns!!! I also watch needles at the ready, they’re just easy going and great to watch and knit with. Enjoy your time at your cabin!!! Sure exciting 🥰
Inga it’s always a pleasure to see you. Your knitting is a work of art! Each and every piece you show is just gorgeous! And that hair! Just beautiful! You are a beautiful soul. Congrats on the sweater. Oh the acquisitions, what a lucky girl! Thanks for sharing. Be well, luv you to pieces, Karen
Thank you so much for the slipper's instructions in English I was struggling with google translator as I am new to knitting. Will make a pair for my 80 year's old dad that always has cold feet. Love love all your podcasts, your projects, and your energy.
I don’t know how I did’t find your podcast sooner. TH-cam suggested it after I watched Arne and Carlos who I’ve been watching for quite some time now. I’ve been knitting socks and scarves since my chemo won’t stay focused on anything that requires thinking. I can’t wait to do color work again and know that it’s only a matter of time. Now to binge watch your podcasts so I can be up to date and continue knitting boring socks for the neuropathy patients at the oncology clinic. I knit my heels exactly they way your grandmother taught you. BTW your cardigan is beautiful. Happy knitting and be well. 🧶🧶☮️
Oh my! I just knitted up the slippers you so kindly gifted to the world!!! What a brilliant idea! I am going to make so many :) also....your colorwork mitts are on the needles just now! Thanks so so much. Your amazing energy fills my little knitting heart. Happy weekend
Love your cardigan. I was watching a Knit Ink podcast and they are knitting a Marie Wallin sweater and a lot of listeners were warning them to really check the fit, as the patterns all seem to fit really small. Thank you for translating the slipper pattern. Love your new acquisitions and the new hair.🧶🧶
Oh I love this podcast! I’m excited for you with your acquisitions! The sweater is amazing! ❤️the socks and slippers too! Omg everything is so awesome! Thank you my knit friend! ❤️
Hi Inga, love your videos, so warm and lovely. Your cardigan is fantastic. I want to make something similar for my husband, but sweater version, just thinking of steeking gives me nightmares. I really enjoyed the acquisition part of the podcast. Have great weekend an I am looking forward to seeing you soon
What a great podcast! Your cardigan is beautiful. I am impressed that you converted to knitting in the round and steeking. Your aquisitions were equally impressive! Thank you for translating the sock pattern and also thank you for the tour of the mill and store. Those unnamed yarn cakes were huge! The scenery at the end was so great. Very soothing/calming to watch. Thank you so much for this program.
I am new to pod cast and I love yours very much. I like all the patterns you have made. I am a warm color person also. I will be watching all of your pod cast. Good luck.
Thank you for translating the slipper pattern!! I am so excited to knit some pairs. Your sweater(s) turned out amazing. Maybe this winter I can knit some more sweaters for me. I need to finish some other projects first.
Hi Inga. Love the podcast, and love the new hair. Just wanted to wish you 'happy 17th may' when it comes. I normally would be in Stavanger visiting my Norwegian friend(we've been friends for 65 years since we were 13)but with vivid I an not able to visit her 😪😪 ,but will soon I hope. Happy knitting
Just finishing binge watching all your podcasts! Your projects are absolutely amazing and true works of art!! Thank you for all of your inspiration!! I am hoping you are at your cabin, on your new deck with a warm beverage and knitting with any of your new acquisitions!
Thank you for yet another lovely podcast. Your Marie Wallin jacket is SO beautiful. Good on you to shift the pattern to knit in the round. I can vividly imagine the difficulties in purling such intricate colour work. Loved the footage from Hillesvåg. I have two siblings living in Norway, so I'm very familiar with Norwegian knitting traditions and all the amazing Norwegian yarn. I'm so looking forward to when we can travel again.
Thank you. I loved seeing your stash acquisitions. All the yarn. I have also been adding to my stash faster than I can knit! But there are so many beautiful things!
All of your projects are so inspiring. I love seeing them, your WIP’s, cast on’s, ideas, acquisitions and hints and also your home country as I have family in Norway too. It is also nice sitting and ‘knitting’ and hearing about everyday things over there in an Arctic country as I am from Australia. Keep it up and take care.
Hi Inga. Your jacket looks lovely. I enjoyed seeing all of the gorgeous yarns that you have recently purchased. What a fantastic wool shop at the end there, awesome. I am looking forward to seeing you podcast from your cabin. Take care Inga, see you soon xxx
Your hair is gorgeous! Your sweater is nicely knit and very pretty. I have enjoyed all your projects and acquisitions. Thank you for an enjoyable podcast.
I've been wanting to knit that same cardigan for forever, and seeing it on you just makes me want it all the more! It looks GORGEOUS with your new hair colour!
You look like an ancient master´s beauty that has come alive! Normally I think browns going blond don´t look good but this hairstyle is absolutely gorgeous!! And the jacket has come out perfect- the knitting, the colourscheme, wow!! Warm regards from Germany!
Another wonderful episode and I love that you took footage of the fiber mill/yarn store - boy that little lamb is rough on his mother though! LOL. Your knitting is beautiful and I'm inspired to do more color work!! I also bought some more yarn even though I'm trying to use my stash - "at least I'm trying" as well! Hugs and I wish you a very restful and knit worthy vacation!!
Thank you for another lovely episode. Your Marie Wallin sweater is so beautiful...it definitely made me want to add that kit to my wishlist! Thanks for sharing the pattern for the felted slippers too - much better than Google translate! Hope your planned DIY projects at the cabin go smoothly amd you have a good holiday!
I was lucky enough to visit the Hillesvag mill last summer and even managed to join a tour. Fantastic. I bought more Ask to add to what I bought in Tromsø in 2018! Hoping to visit the Rauma mill this summer 😊.
It was a totally different looking podcast! Your new hair color is beautiful. Fun for Spring. I'm so happy you were able to find more yarn for your "forever" sweater. It's stunning. Enjoy your vacation although it sounds exhausting.
Wonderful podcast, Inga. Love your Marie Wallin sweater. You have inspired me - planning yarns and will start it late summer. So exciting, but a bit terrifying too....
Thank you sooo much for translating the pattern for the slippers, I wanted them so bad that I was ready to learn norwegian ahah. And I always love seeing your stash acquisitions, for some reason it stresses me out to possess skeins I can't use right away, so with you I get to feel the joy of seeing beautiful yarns without actually buying them ! My wallet and my stress levels will never thank you enough !
I understand where your coming from, i sometimes feel the same but then i supress it and buy more yarn😂❤️😭 i got issues hehe. If you learn norwegian i got tons of other patterns to recomend though;)
The cardigan is beautiful. What a labour of love that must have been. So jealous of your yarn acquisitions, I have nowhere like that near me. Love the hair, it really suits you. Thanks for another lovely episode xXx
The cardigan is beautiful and all of the yarn you purchased are going to make some nice garments. Enjoy your vacation and happy knitting. I hope you will be able to do some filming while you are there so we can see your cabin. Oh I also grabbed the Cedar Point sweater pattern and intend to give it a try. Yours look very nice maybe this one will make a good pattern for me to try two colors
Great idea to felt the edges to be steeked. You can use any quite thick cheap sponge, like washing up sponges to support the wool to felt. Another fascinating vlog, the chestnut cardigan is a masterpiece.
Love your podcast. Love your new hair colour! Thx for the recommendations for the new podcasts you are enjoying. I'll check them out. Another really good new podcast is Penrose Knits from England (aka The Knitting Pickle podcast. A sweet young mother who has been knitting for a short time too but very talented and entertaining as well.
@@knittingtraditions She talks about your sock pattern that she knit up in her episode 4 today. (@ 19 minutes) th-cam.com/video/93cwG-xxFIs/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Great podcast.... everything was amazing, the cardigan is spectacular. And a trip to a yarn mill, omg so envious. You should be sponsored by the Norwegian Tourist board.... I need to go to Norway 🇳🇴
Omg you rock! Thanks so much for the slipper explanation, wrote it all out and it’ll definitely be a cast on soon! Always love everything you’re working on, a true inspiration! Hugs, Barb
@@knittingtraditions omg I'm sure I will! I'll share my wip as I go on my channel. Ok to shout your channel out so people know about the slippers? I'm soooo excited! Hugs, Barb
If I had been given those beautiful colourwork socks I couldn't have worn them, I would have to frame them!! Your colourwork is stunning. I love your Marie Wallen cardigan, it's so gorgeous 😘 😘
Thabk you so much! I am almost scared to wear them as i dont know if i will get more in the future from her but they hold up really well so for indoor use its a lovely comfort to have on the feet😁
Americans are very spoiled. We are told on the label the yarn content 100% cotton, 4 weight h hook, 3.50 ounces or 100 grams, 175 meters or 200 yards. With washing instructions. You are an experienced knitter I am a beginner/intermediate crocheter.
When are you going to make baby clothes? I don't have any babies but love making them for the hospital and sell them. Maybe you could knit small, very small babies sweaters, vests, booties, pants, boy and unisex stuff.
I loved your podcast especially acquisitions so beautiful. I have picked up stitches for a neckline using circular needles and also used a crochet hook to pick up the stitches.
Hi Inga, Your cardigan/jacket is beautiful! I'm sure you are glad to have it finished! Lots of work! Thank you for the english translation for the slippers, I'll plan to made some! Have a great, relaxing vacation! I'm making the Purl Soho, Half and Half Shawl, and The Girlfriend Sweater. Love your hair! 🌻🦋
This is a great video! I loved seeing all your projects and I am drooling over all your yarn acquisitions 🤩 Your knitting is so beautiful and I look forward to seeing your videos pop up ❤️
As soon as I saw you had posted I couldnr wait for the work day to end. Haha, this was fun and you are not alone with the yarn stash goodness! Oh it would be really cool to see your cabin and your spot of peace and knitting. Like your current spot as it seems really cozy. Your FO cardigan is stunning and even though you had to add rows I think your version is much nicer with the band you have on your shoulders...seems more complete. Anyway, it is lovely. Thanks as always and now the waiting begins again! But all good things are worth the wait 🤭
Thabk you so much❤️❤️❤️ i hope i can record at the cabin just need to build some things first and then were good to go for another episode🥰❤️ have a lovely week😘
I am new to your podcast and am completely captivated. I have watched 3 episodes now and will watch them all. Your work is extraordinary and ever-so inspiring. Someday I will venture out and do some color work but in the meantime, I would love the pattern you did for your garter triangular shawl - the red one your beautifully displayed after showing your fabulous fair isle cardigan. Although you mentioned a few details, I was hoping for more... if time permits, please direct me to the pattern. Enjoy your cottage time - I am excited for you and hope to see some photos. Thanks you, Scarlett (a fiber friend) from Michigan, USA! :-) PS - Your hair is fabulous!
Another great episode and you look stunning, thanks! The footage at the end was a nice surprise, maybe one day you can do guided tour of hillesvag mill (by you or staff) and explanation of their yarns 😍
Hi Inga, You look great as a blonde! The Marie Wallin sweater is too gorgeous for words! As always, your knits are beautiful. Enjoy every minute of your vacation time, xoxo's Sandie
Your sweater is beautiful!! I really appreciate hearing of your experience in converting the pattern to the round. I have steeked a few cardigans previously and recently used the felting technique. I started out using the foam that came with my needle kit but found that the Clover brand needle felting mat/brush worked really well. I was able to order it on Amazon.
Your new hair plus that fair isle cardigan looks soo good together! Congrats on completing another long term project. And putting out a pattern with briggs durasport...one of my favourites. I look forward to knitting it one day :)
I loved this episode so much. The acquisitions are crazy varied and will make a terrific wardrobe. I am going to make those slippers for my husband. He is skeptical......
You are just amazing!! Nice to see you again. As always. One day I will travel to Norway to see my wonderful cousins. Of course I have to shop for wool too:))
I just found your podcast and had to subscribe!! I just need to go back and watch earlier episodes! i love all of your projects...you are such a talented knitter!! And oh my goodness can I just come visit and go yarn shopping with you?! 😂🧶 so many stunning yarns!!!
I just discovered your podcast and really enjoy it. I've definitely subscribed and need to catch up with your previous podcast. Can't wait! Thank you so much!
Well your sweater is AMAZING! I am dreaming of working up to that level of skill. I haven’t much raw talent 😂 not like you and Woolly Witchcraft! (I love her podcasts!) If you are looking for more podcasts, try SONDER or Maggie Mae. She is a doctor in Denver Colorado. She knits and has a section on books as well. I enjoy her very much. Love the new hair-you look as glamorous as a high fashion model. If you ever get tired of doctoring, I think you have a second career at the ready! Your setting us marvelous, warm, inviting and cozy. I’m going to try those rustic socks. They look very interesting with the cables. I treated myself to the two Laine books when I finished my first sweater. They are a wonderful source of inspiration! Jealous of your visit to Hillesvag! Looked terrific! Stay safe and thank you for the podcast. Can’t wait to see your cabin.
Thank you❤️ i will definetely be checking her out😁 i used to work as a model before but figured this was a more sustainable work in the longterm prospect ehhe;) i hope you like the socks🥰 have a lovely week😘
I really enjoyed this episode! (they're all great!) I just finished the Bellis tee, from Fiber Tales, yesterday, and knit it up in a hemp and wool blend, which I think will be cozy, but cooler for Spring and Summer. An, I'm excited to see your dress, whenever you decide to knit it! I just finally found the dress pattern that I want to use with the dark Cormo wool I purchased a little bit ago. Thank you for sharing your knitting adventures with us!!
Love your podcast. and I think it's nice to see an scandinavian podcaster(im swedish). Love your new hairstyle, it suits you so good. You look gorgeous!

I will check her out thank you❤️🙌🏻
@@knittingtraditions She talks about your sock pattern that she knit up in her episode 4 today. (@ 19 minutes) th-cam.com/video/93cwG-xxFIs/w-d-xo.html
Cheers!
You have so many wips! They're really fun to see. Your new forever sweater is absolutely gorgeous. I would love to make that.
You look AMAZING! I haven't even watched yet, but just seeing that you've posted has already made my day. I'm so excited for this episode! 😆❤️
Yey😁❤️
Great podcast.... everything was amazing, the cardigan is spectacular. And a trip to a yarn mill, omg so envious. You should be sponsored by the Norwegian Tourist board.... I need to go to Norway 🇳🇴
Haha that would be great😂❤️
amazing-outstanding the cardigan!
Omg you rock! Thanks so much for the slipper explanation, wrote it all out and it’ll definitely be a cast on soon! Always love everything you’re working on, a true inspiration! Hugs, Barb
Yey! Hope you love it as much as i do😁❤️
@@knittingtraditions omg I'm sure I will!
Love the new hair color
Thank you 🥰❤️
Americans are very spoiled. We are told on the label the yarn content 100% cotton, 4 weight h hook, 3.50 ounces or 100 grams, 175 meters or 200 yards. With washing instructions. You are an experienced knitter I am a beginner/intermediate crocheter.
The black is perfect and would love it and the natural gray! Classic sweater! You should be able to measure 10 cm in your sleep😂🤣😜
I like cool colors, but the green, orange and yellow will go sooo well in a project!
When are you going to make baby clothes? I don't have any babies but love making them for the hospital and sell them. Maybe you could knit small, very small babies sweaters, vests, booties, pants, boy and unisex stuff.
Your Chestnut sweater is absolutely beautiful. Congrat's.
Thank you😘
Your fair isle sweater is beautiful! And it fits you so well too! Amazing work as always!
Thank you❤️
I loved your podcast especially acquisitions so beautiful. I have picked up stitches for a neckline using circular needles and also used a crochet hook to pick up the stitches.
That sounds so intriguing! I have never done that with a crochet hook, smart!😁
Thank you❤️ i want to cast that on aswell it seems so comforting!
The. Cardigan is STUNNING xxxxxx

Your cardigan is gorgeous, great job. I love the pattern and colors.
This is a great video! I loved seeing all your projects and I am drooling over all your yarn acquisitions 🤩 Your knitting is so beautiful and I look forward to seeing your videos pop up ❤️
Thank you😘
As soon as I saw you had posted I couldnr wait for the work day to end.
Thank you😘 i am hoping to write it up his summer as both a striped and a plain version, il announce it on a future podcast if i get around to it;)
Another great episode and you look stunning, thanks! The footage at the end was a nice surprise, maybe one day you can do guided tour of hillesvag mill (by you or staff) and explanation of their yarns 😍
That would be amazing😍
Hi Inga,
You look great as a blonde! The Marie Wallin sweater is too gorgeous for words! As always, your knits
are beautiful.
Enjoy every minute of your vacation time,
xoxo's Sandie
Thabk you Sandie🥰❤️
This was wonderful! Thank you for going through the pattern. I so appreciate it!- Kimberly
The cardigan is beautiful! You have such amazing knits ✨️
Yey thank you😘❤️
I loved this episode so much. The acquisitions are crazy varied and will make a terrific wardrobe. I am going to make those slippers for my husband. He is skeptical......
Thank you😁 hell love it;) he has no choice if you make it
You are just amazing!! Nice to see you again. As always. One day I will travel to Norway to see my wonderful cousins. Of course I have to shop for wool too:))

Yes come 😁😁😁😁😁❤️
I just discovered your podcast and really enjoy it. I've definitely subscribed and need to catch up with your previous podcast. Can't wait! Thank you so much!
Im so glad to hear😁❤️
Thar cardigan is absolutely gorgeous! 😍 You are very talented.
Thank you❤️ the bellis tee is on my list aswell😄
Love your hair! The cardigan is amazing!!
Thank you 🥰😁
Thank you for translating the pattern! The woolly slippers look amazing and I want to make them sometime soon! 🐑❤️🐑❤️🐑
