Wow! Just such a fun podcast from the cabin! What a beautiful spot! You are so blessed to be there and to be able to spend time with your family! I don’t think I would ever want to leave! I am in awe of you! I am currently working on several projects, a pair of Vanilla Latte socks, a sockhead hat and a scarf called the Blue Scarf using Donegal Tweed yarn in a lace or fine weight! Hoping to start a basic sweater soon! All your projects are very inspiring and I always look forward to all your podcasts! You are a lovely person! Thanks for being you!
What an enjoyable video-as usual of course. The countryside is gorgeous! It will be amazing to cross country ski in the winter. You and your father have done tons of lovely work. I’d like to come sit on your deck with my sketchbook and watercolors, but I’d never be able to capture that beauty. You will love the 1/2 Wrap. It is the perfect zen knitting experience. I’m almost finished with the first half. The yarn is a dream to work with. I loved the Cedar Point sweater, but I might make the sleeves a bit less wide...well, enjoy the rest of your week. Stay safe.
So happy for you Inge, great cottage. Nothing better than to be close to water whether it's a lake or the ocean. Thanks for the lovely episode., Sharon 🥰
A lake, mountains, ski paths, forests, wood cabin and knitting......bliss oh and a sauna, me jealous hell yes. Please put my name down for the knitters retreat! : )
Awesome to see you again! And I think is fabulous to be able to bring back to life the cabin and to make things and not just garments! Great that you already have so many cozy knits for the cabin! Enjoy and thanks for sharing!❤️
When I saw the Cedar Point sweater it immediately reminded me of David Rose from Schitts Creek! Love it so much! The Cabin looks great and im sure you and your loved ones will make lots of wonderful memories in it! thanks for another podcast episode to relax too.
Beautiful podcast Inga 😍 thank you for subscribing to my YT channel. I’ve really enjoyed spending some time with you and seeing all of your lovely wips. I recently cast on the Half + Half Wrap 😆 I’m using beautiful yarn from The Fibre Co in their Meadow yarn. Your cabin is amazing 💕🧶 🏡
Thank you Inga. The knitting projects are gorgeous. I was looking forward to the cabin, and it is beautiful. Enjoy it to the fullest, until next video. (Yes, I’m going to watch it next) Chao ❤️🇨🇴
Your videos are always my favorite! I love all the knitting content and the ending clips in your videos are so soothing! 💕 I’m so excited that you showed us your cabin! It looks so lovely!
I loved the photos of the cabin - so rustic and I can visualize relaxing there. Here, in Canada, we would call the wooden structure you and your Dad built outside, a deck. Great place to relax and view the outdoors.
Thanks for another great knitting videocast. You have so many finished knits even though you have been working on the cabin. Your cabin is so beautiful and you will be able to make so many family memories there. I love watching the end for all the beautiful scenery and it really makes me want to travel to Norway......so beautiful.
I loved seeing your hytte. It is absolutely beautiful. I loved seeing the lake so close by. It reminded me of my daughter-in-law's father's cabin on the mountain above his family's farm off of E39 southwest of Orkanger. I stayed there in 2014, it too was built in the 1960's and had much the same look as yours. A bit more rustic though, a pipe brought cold water from the mountain stream, and the outhouse was quite fancy--plenty of light and air because it had a huge window! There was only a bit of electricity from solar panels, so there was a cold room under one of the bedrooms. I'm also a fan of the Pickles merino tweed yarn, but some of their patterns are a bit crazy, modern yes, but I think you need to know about garment knitting because both my son's mother-in-law and I have found adjustments needed to be made. The store is fun to visit as is Værbitt which in 2018 wasn't that far away from Pickles.
You got for yourself a very nice cabin. The lake, the flowers, the blue sky…. You will be happy at this place. I like the color of your projects. Your pronunciation of Espace Tricot in French was very good. I wish you a beautiful summer at your cabin.
I saw a few photos on your insta about your cabin work and thought it was already incredible, but that place is pure peace. I'm so glad for you having a place where you will be able to go and recharge. And knit and show us all your beautiful projects. The parts where you walk around and show us the nature there was wonderful. Very relaxing. Thank you!
Such a treat to experience your cabin with you...thank you so much for the little tour and footage of the beautiful outdoors! So beautiful. I always enjoy your videos, and sharing time together :). Love the Skovmaerker pattern and think I'll have to make this! Enjoy the rest of your week, Inga!
Thank God I checked because I didn't receive any notification that you posted this...and my bell has been rung long ago! Weird. You are my knitting inspiration...my knitting guru!!! I can't be missing anything you post!!!💖💕🤗
Inga, it sounds great to be able to rest up there in your cabin and enjoy your solitude, after your busy work schedule. I also visit the podcastors you mentioned Love all of you for sharing your crafts and inspirations. I too am knitting the 1/2 & 1/2 Wrap, in Heirloom White and Flamingo, I'm halfway through the 2nd color! Working on the Girlfriend sweater also. I made your colorwork Cowl for my daughter, she and her husband, love to snowboard. Enjoy the little sheep when they come by to visit! Bye for now! Glad you got your yarn and finished your colorwork sweater!

So happy for you that your beautiful cabin is finished and ready for use. Listening about how much vacation time you have it’s making me jealous, but I know it’s normal for most Europeans country. Thanks for your beautiful picture and lovely podcast.
Hi Inga, I was watching this very late last night and forgot to leave a comment. It is so good to see you; all relaxed getting a bit of a tan as well. The cabin is just too stinking cute; the views were amazing! I am sure your family and friends are going to love wearing those beautiful, and very warm sweaters this winter. Speaking of sweaters, I was afraid you were going to pass out from heat exhaustion. Tee shirt :D Enjoy the rest of your vacation, xoxo's Sandie

The cabin is so nice!! And great job on the outdoor area- you will be sure to live out there. We will be heading to our little cabin by the sea in Northern Japan in a week or so. I love sitting on our deck, knitting and listening to the ocean waves and looking into the trees. Enjoy the rest of your time at your cabin, Inga!
Everything you knit is so stunning! You and Fiber Tales are my favorite knitting podcasts so that was fun seeing you knit one of her designs! I just bought the yarn to start her Fjer cardigan. Thank you for showing off your cabin. It looks so peaceful and I enjoyed hearing all about the projects you have been doing with your dad. 💕
So pleased to see your video as I have missed seeing your makes! You did well doing the video in your sweater along with the mohair floating about and getting in your mouth. I bet you were so warm by the time you got to the end of recording. The cabin looks beautiful and I am sure you and your family will enjoy it for many years to come. The scenery and the lake are stunning. Thank you Inga for allowing the rest of us to be part of your community.
So excited to see you again! Once again your talents amaze me! So many projects planned so little time! Your cabin turned out just beautiful! I can see you spending many, many happy hours here knitting! Just got my yarn for my Windswept! Also yarn on the way for the Purlsoho wrap!
Wow! Your cabin is lovely and the views are amazing. We are going to have some wonderful times there, I am sure. How fun to make the renovations with your dad. It will make enjoying them even more special. You’re finished objects and whips are always amazing. The sweater from Espace Tricot is beautiful, but it sure did turn out big. I think you could fit three of you in it. Enjoy the rest of your time off before your summer of hard work. I look forward to your next podcast. Thank you. 💕
Hi Inga, Thank you for another wonderful episode and sharing your beautiful cabin with us. I am currently knitting away on a Ranunculus using Briggs and Little Sport in the Brown Heather colourway.
