One other thing people should understand is that, Yamalube which is company recommended oil lasts max of 2000 KMS, and if people are using it beyond that mark, then heating of engine might increase which leads increase in VALVE Clearance resulting in Tappets to make noise, which is normal. This is not a issue at all. When commuting through a heavy traffic at low speed as well as low gear, engine will heat up and tappet noise will come, which will go away as you get out of that heavy traffic and move freely. The reason being FZ25 is an Air+Oil cooled, SOHC bike . A solution to this all heating and tappet noise is :- Use Motul 7100 10W 40 egine oil (Given you also use the bike for short/long rides other than just commuting. ) Change Oil filter with every time you change oil ( Motul 7100 last at least for 6000 KMS ) Air filter max by 5000/6000 based on its condition ( how much black it got, But I change it anyways at 6000 KMS interval )

Secondly the Scenery , was Desi Canyons, fantastico. Let's Come bac to the pt, Heating issue there's no such issue other than what u mentioned regarding oil (viscosity) and oil level, or Oil no longer effective in the engine. I own the first launched model been 3 yrz, clocked 60,000km + and it's still Fucking ramphant with 1st 3 gears shedding some weight (and Sharp timely services) to bring in the practical power to weight ratio as much as possible. Now, the TAPPET noise is adjustable permanently by tightening the Torque disc on the right hand side head of the engine. Pal Has demonstrated this in one of his video. Setback is the Lights , be it lil more Illuminacent, it would just Be icing on the cake for a yamaha 250cc which is highly durable and Easy on pocket. Don't get me wrong this not those performance oriented Motorcycle if some of u here are looking for and Troubling Gurpal Bhai For it. Gurpal Bhai ur conveys are nice and Funny. Every bike have some issues, no bike is perfect, the question is can you deal with the issues and find alternative. I love this bike overall and happy with it. I'm using this Fz25 bike for three years completed forty-five thousand km, there is no problem. Egine is really Gem. Very very very good and touch wood bike

I also have FZ25 Monster Edition and i also don't find any heating issues in that but yes in starting i was little worried about tapping noise but as you said it is not an issue, i also don't find any issues either. Generally i get some low tapping noise after 25 or 30 KM of riding. Winters me ye aur bhi kam ho jati h.
Yes bro you are right ...tappets koi issue nai hai yamaha even said that this engine has been tuned for mileage and power ...tappets sound is essential for better performance of this kinda engine fz25 has royal gold 2 type engine these engines are noisy and older one but last long in comparison to other and are more promising ones ...like enfield s engine its noisier too

I can't tell it perfectly without knowing actual condition and there is inflation in market as well. Considering 8000 kms only is very less. So 80-90 range seams reasonable.
Now please make a video how to change the two rubber dampers where the headlight is mounted to minimise the headlight shake. I have noticed that you have removed the taller windshield, you should be feeling the headlight shake.
yeah the dampers get shrunk after prolong heat due to the sun. i asked the showroom guys to just add an additional thin metal washer/ring along with it so that it can compensate the gap when it shrinks.

Hi , In fz25 2019 model ( 5500 km driven) I'm getting engine warning light after crossing 80kmph . When I come to halt after that and switch off the engine , I can see engine code 24 . I checked with service center, they did some test with system and said everything is fine. I lose my confidence of driving more than 80kmph because of this warning fearing something will happen to engine. Can you please help me with this

I am an FZ 25 owner too and I love my bike. Bs6 did improve the light by adding projector headlamp but I will suggest you to test ride both the bikes fz25 and Gixxer. For the looks and the muscular feel I will always go with the FZ but yes I miss the sixth gear on highways but that doesn't mean this bike is bad. Gear ratios on fz25 are perfect. Gixxer came to market later than fz25 so it did work on the cons which fz25 earlier versions have like no abs, less headlight coverage etc. But the latest fz25 bs6 has good no of changes. Test ride and buy whichever bike you like. Thanks

Tappet me awaj nai hai matlab kahi galat set toh nai kar diya. Galat set kiya toh mileage nai milegi and bhage bhi nahi. Air filter check karo and engine oil.
Mujhe aaj tak heating issue aya nhe 3 saal ho gaye mere bike k ..PTA nhe logo ko kaise ajata h..maine 10w40 bhe use kiya aur 10w50 bhe ...traffic me still khra rehta bike pher bhe no heating issue
Bro change ur air filter and spark plug if u have crossed 20k kms. Also use only 10w40 grade engine oil. Also adjust chain slack, check air pressure ( I prefer F 25/ R 40). And check disk pad gap is ok? Both the wheels move freely while on centre stand? Hope this will solve. I have done personally these things 2 days back.

It's still there and however you will not even hear this past 30-40kmhr speed. You will only notice slight tick when you slow down after long ride or once the engine gets warm.. I have dec 2019 fz25 ABS.
DON'T USE 10W50 STICK TO 10W40, I USED MOTUL 10W50 I HAVE TO REPLACE MY CAMSHAFT ,I ALSO OWN FZ25 USE MOTUL 7100 10W40 OR USE LIQUI MOLY 10W40 FULLY SHYNTETIC
@@siddhikasingh6011 In engine there are a Needle sizes holes which are designed to flow that recommend grade to flow at speed that needed using thick oil there is presure at Oil pump :- Because of thickness oil pump gets load on it and doesnt work perfectly so oil dont pass at head in that quantity and camshaft,rockers etc etc are damaged ,Due to thick oil the oil is not perfectly passes between two metal parts as it should pass because of its thickness and slowly slowly it causes wear.
@@siddhikasingh6011 I would suggest to replace that oil as soon as you can company knows and engineers have designed that engine they know the grade we should not use our brains stick to same grade you can change oil brands Motul, LIQUI MOLY, Castrol,Shell just replace new oil at 4500 to 5000 km time to time lifetime your bike will work as it is (There is channel name CHERRY VLOGS he used 20w50 oil in his FZ25 bike worked fine but after some time engine started to wear his bore, piston,all engine was seized)

I've taken a test drive today and I must say with pillion the rear shocks are the worst and thuds at every bump. What's your view?
