many people have tried this most gave up or used a mod that created an entirely new void but this man survived and thrived in a normal unmodified void we gotta appreciate the effort he put into this vid
Imagine one day u decide to break bedrock of ur world for some reason and u find a person living beneath it with a whole ass working mob farm and trees
Y’know I was like “how is he not gonna break his own rule on the void-glitch, if he HAS to go to the overworld for the portal?” And I’ll be darned, that’s an acceptable work-around if I’ve ever seen one
For going deeper down, if you still had a piston, it would have been so much easier than using trapdoors. Just place it upside down on your ceiling, place some blocks underneath until the piston can push the floor down, and just keep adding a block in between to push further. Press of one button to go one block deeper. Can't get easier.
@@silpal4274 pistons can push as far as possible to not cause a block to end up beyond the final coordinate. in other words, you can use a piston to move a block into the final position right above the void
It's a good idea, however, pistons require cobblestone to craft and he had to keep the few blocks he had left to smelt them into stone, and make moss out of it so he could grow trees on them.
this takes not only a ton of patience, but knowledge of the game as well. i'm sure there was a lot of research to make this happen. so much respect for this man. amazing video
7:13 You do not need to hide that you made backups in the world because it is unreasonable to assume that you should be able to do an extremely grueling like 50 hour long challenge without making any mistakes. And the boat should not and cannot be able to de-spawn.
For someone who seems to know Minecraft’s mechanics enough to be able to do this challenge, It’s strange you didn’t knew that wandering traders drink invisibility potions when there are hostile mobs near by.

Fun fact, boats actually don’t despawn in any version especially not his, only a few bugs would make boats disappear and while they were in 1.18 they were extremely rare

@@total_blasphemy my point is that, while there was a bug in 1.18 that involved faulty boat despawning, the conditions under which that bug happened were not met in the video (it’s not by waiting 3 hours). Even if it was a bug, MudFlaps presented it as if it was a feature.

this challenge reminds me of ilmango who survived skyblock with no lava, water, only dirt and an acacia tree, and pinu who survived on one single dirt block with no items in vanilla minecraft. i love watching these types of videos because of the creativity and because of how different it is to a normal minecraft world. thanks for doing this!

Over all I’ve now seen -Putting water in the nether -Living in the end -living on one block that expands -Living on one block -Living basically everywhere but the overworld “Rules are made to be broken”

Just a btw for anyone reading this, boats don’t despawn after 3 hours, they can disappear but will reappear when you go close to them, which he was already doing. Honestly, if he cheated there, I have a hard time believing the rest of this was done completely legitimately.
I am playing a hardcore bonus chest only world with no structures, he got that string in the start wayyy to fast I am currently 51 level and only have like 15wool blocks but I do have like 40 bone blocks
Sadly he is using a plugin that prevents him from being able to die. at 11:08 he survived a splash potion of harming while being on 1 heart which deals a lot more than half a heart. Great Video and I love the grind but thats kinda a mood killer :)

Though this challenge is pretty suspect due to boats not naturally despawning. Boats do have a tendency to just… disappear, for whatever reason. No clue as to why but it could TECHNICALLY be real.

for being like 20+ hours into a hardcore challenge run, the number of times he was at half a heart and didn't even notice/care/mention it leads me to believe this isn't actually a hardcore world and he's just using a mod for the hardcore hearts. no WAY you wouldn't FREAK OUT at the thought of having to collect gold for another 10 hours.
@@swank8508 You don't even need to do that.. You can just open the world to LAN, enabling cheats when you do, and set yourself back to survival. Reload the world to disable cheats again.
bro really went from void to nether to undergrounds of overworld, then to savanna in overworld, then to undground (for end portal) then went to the end, i can call this andventure a way from the hell. Good job!
Fun fact about endermen- they can only grab the edge of a horizontal surface, and can only grab certain kinds of blocks. You could have saved your moss from being grabbed by endermen by placing planks around them.

Let's be honest, it would have taken him 6 months to do this the slow way. But it is theoretically possible to do this impossible challenge. It would just take so long that it's not worth the time it takes to make a video.
This feels like one of those possible minecraft challenge runs, but since it would take literally weeks to grind stuff. It would be possible that he'd cheated. He didn't show his statistics in minecraft, and also many aspects of the video are quite suspicious. Although people do waste months grinding challenging runs so it might be legit.

This challange reminds me something similar. Many years ago (I guess 10?) I tried to play Survival mode on Superflat map with empty hands, there were just villages allowed to spawn, so if I found them I could get resources from them and later I even managed to travel to Nether. I think that time End biome wasn't in the game yet, so I this was probably the biggest thing I could achieve. Hmm, maybe I could have even fought Wither, but can't recall if I did and if it was in the game at all that time. Anyway - I can recommend this, if you like these sort of unique gameplays. It is not that challenging like this - anyone can try it. This 100 Days in VOID is very impressive by the way, saying it as someone who tried this "superflat" survival mode and thought it was challenge, it was nothing compared to this. Also, there are some funny moments.

pigmen/piglins and zombie pigmen are the only mobs that can drop golden swords.. No other mob drops those.. also no one can explain how he has an unhealthy amount of redstone and glowstone from very little witch killing? nevermind the bottles. Also boats do not despawn in any version of minecraft. And mojang jira doesnt report a boat despawn bug for any version other than visual bugs when riding them, but that does not trigger whats shown in the video. And dont get me started with the amount of slime balls I saw earlier in his inven. With thats said. ignoring the excessive items, its possible to do this apart from the boat situation... But tbh if He did some redstone right he could of had that boat pushed, but eh. I digress. All the info is on the wiki and in the same source code we program with for mods and plugins...

He also got dirt randomly midway through which is possible if he bonemealed an azalea sapling but he would probably disclose it if he did, he also got a bunch of oak trapdoors instead of spruce when going down. Honestly pretty disappointing.

I think this is the first time I’ve seen any youtuber use bone blocks in a challenge like this and honestly it’s the biggest brain move of the run. Like, the second thing you make in a skyblock or other limited resource void challenges is a mob spawner and you just passively acquire hundreds of stacks of bones that you never use except for bone meal. Using bone blocks as a building material here is a pretty big game changer
I think for the wood, a better idea would be to just get the moss, bonemeal it until you get an azalea, and then bonemeal the azalea to get an oak tree. And the reason that this is good is because it turns the moss into rooted dirt, which when hit with a hoe turns into regular dirt.

I am playing a hardcore bonus chest only world with no structures, he got that string in the start wayyy to fast I am currently 51 level and only have like 15wool blocks but I do have like 40 bone blocks
Sadly he is using a plugin that prevents him from being able to die. at 11:08 he survived a splash potion of harming while being on 1 heart which deals a lot more than half a heart. Great Video and I love the grind but thats kinda a mood killer :)

Though this challenge is pretty suspect due to boats not naturally despawning. Boats do have a tendency to just… disappear, for whatever reason. No clue as to why but it could TECHNICALLY be real.
1.18 did have plenty of bugs with boats as well as any entity inside of them disappearing
However, it doesn't randomly happen like that. It happens due to chunk unloading, which wouldn't happen if he's standing right on top of it. He even went as far as to edit the text on the search result. The real Sportskeeda wiki info says this:

This challange reminds me something similar. Many years ago (I guess 10?) I tried to play Survival mode on Superflat map with empty hands, there were just villages allowed to spawn, so if I found them I could get resources from them and later I even managed to travel to Nether. I think that time End biome wasn't in the game yet, so I this was probably the biggest thing I could achieve. Hmm, maybe I could have even fought Wither, but can't recall if I did and if it was in the game at all that time.
Anyway - I can recommend this, if you like these sort of unique gameplays. It is not that challenging like this - anyone can try it.
This 100 Days in VOID is very impressive by the way, saying it as someone who tried this "superflat" survival mode and thought it was challenge, it was nothing compared to this. Also, there are some funny moments.

pigmen/piglins and zombie pigmen are the only mobs that can drop golden swords.. No other mob drops those.. also no one can explain how he has an unhealthy amount of redstone and glowstone from very little witch killing? nevermind the bottles.
Also boats do not despawn in any version of minecraft. And mojang jira doesnt report a boat despawn bug for any version other than visual bugs when riding them, but that does not trigger whats shown in the video.
And dont get me started with the amount of slime balls I saw earlier in his inven.
With thats said. ignoring the excessive items, its possible to do this apart from the boat situation... But tbh if He did some redstone right he could of had that boat pushed, but eh. I digress.

I think this is the first time I’ve seen any youtuber use bone blocks in a challenge like this and honestly it’s the biggest brain move of the run. Like, the second thing you make in a skyblock or other limited resource void challenges is a mob spawner and you just passively acquire hundreds of stacks of bones that you never use except for bone meal. Using bone blocks as a building material here is a pretty big game changer
I think for the wood, a better idea would be to just get the moss, bonemeal it until you get an azalea, and then bonemeal the azalea to get an oak tree. And the reason that this is good is because it turns the moss into rooted dirt, which when hit with a hoe turns into regular dirt.
Also because you don't have to get as low to grow oak, and it makes the apples easier to obtain.
Azalea trees do use oak wood, but they have their own type of leaves that don't drop apples I think
