I love seeing the expansion into other genres. Makes me feel like I am on the right track thumbing my nose at the “you need to pick a niche and stick with it” narrative. So much TH-cam algorithm boogie man narrative out there scaring people from just having fun being themselves.
That “TH-cam algorithm boogie man narrative” isn’t wrong, unfortunately. It’s funny, on one hand, TH-cam themselves encourages you to experiment. But if you’ve established yourself in a niche, people grow to expect that content of the channel. It is possible to experiment and incorporate new content, but it comes at the expense of losing metrics while being exposed to a new demographic. I’ll probably lose 30+ subscribers over this video, but it’ll also slowly help me get into a new genre. Those that enjoy it will stick around, and those are the ones that matter.
Motorcycle content is awesome, I’ve made videos for 5+ years on motorcycles and it’s not going anywhere. But my heart, while mainly in motorcycles, is in motorsports. Hence “Blockhead *MOTO* .”
@@BlockheadMoto for sure. I know the boogie man narrative isn’t totally wrong but in my experience recently the people who are there for you are more important than those who are there for them. I always go back to the simplest view of “You”Tube being you the viewer and you the creator and when those people find each other, that’s where the happiness lives. The people who get “burned out” are the ones who let the fear of the boogie man prevent them from creating what makes them happy if it means exploring ever changing hobbies and interests. Love to see you growing how you want to grow and seeing the bigger picture.
Side note, that would be a fascinating podcast episode topic.
I love the spread of content. Most of us who love bikes love other stuff with hrsprs :)

About 8 month's ago I changed from pro sport to BC racing coilovers in my car. The change alone was massive. Comfortable and can easily be changed to have fun. Worth every penny. Started watching the channel before I got my first Harley and was hooked love the content
Bc’s are in my opinion the best coil-over shocks on the market
When you get it up on the lift, check the sway bar mounting locations for rust. Especially the front right.
My guy, hella great find, car seems amazing man. I’m from Wisconsin, and I can tell you truthfully. The rust you have on that isn’t anything to be afraid of. Hell people up here would easily spend 8-10k on that car, just for the condition it’s in!!! The little bits of bubbling in the paint yes, are most likely rust pockets, but hell as far as the car itself goes, hell of a find!!! We got vehicles with 75% rusted out frames going for 3-4K up here some times. Jealous of the south, honestly

No kidding… I had a 1985 BMW 325is 5 speed… I beat the SHIT out of that car when I shouldn’t have. That is the one car I’ve owned that I wish I still had and took care of. I wasn’t mature or responsible enough to turn that car into what it should’ve been

If you want the ultimate in heresy...The Mercedes OM606 with a few small modifications is also a neat swap I've seen done a few times, It's a diesel....and they are crazy little soot spittin' torque monsters.
I'm curious if your head gasket is leaking from the passenger rear corner of the head, that's where my 525I leaks from, and where my old 325 leaked from as well.
If memory serves, that model has a getrag 250g transmission that is well known for blowing out 2nd gear(again, my e34 525 did the same thing), An easy upgrade is to find a ZF s5d 310 from a 328i, they are far more robust.

More iteresting would be to do the turbocharger on it, but LS is probably cool too.
Brings back memories. Had the E30 325is with an E46 twin turbo swap and beat it to hell. Had body panels riveted on and upgraded to super charged ls swap be for Had to sell it.
Truck stuff and muscle car stuff felt like they were kinda standard for the channel and both were interesting for me because 1) my pop has a ranger that I drive on occasion, and 2) muscle cars are cool
Drift cars are something I didn't expect and looks to be an interesting direction for content

LS Swap = yes. Yeah that’ll mean a whole different wiring harness but it’ll be more reliable if you do it right, especially with the swap kits they make.

Ha..by the time BaggerBro's Radar/Lidar detector went off, it's too late. He just wasn't going fast enough for the ofc/trooper/deputy to actually care to stop him. Their "discretionary" speed limit is often considerably higher than the posted speed limit.

@@BlockheadMoto I wouldn't know the cost of a 4 rotor. From what I've observed they make around 400+ n/a which is right around what a ls would make. It would be lighter than a ls also. They sound sick and it would be different, especially since people have swapped the ls into about everything lol.
