We've been working on this behind the scenes for awhile, and we hope you guys are stoked for it, Blockhead Carbon Fiber! We deal with lots of carbon fiber in our performance builds here at Blockhead Garage, and we just weren't happy with what other companies were offering. From poor quality fiberglass passed off as carbon, rough unfinished edges, poor fitment, having to drill and clearance brand new parts and more, we knew we could deliver a better quality product for our community. This is just the start, we've got more on the way! We'll be sure to keep you all updated, but thank you all again for giving us the opportunity to continue to do what we do! 🤘🏼
@@BlockheadMoto I know yall are chasing quality. That's what I love about the channel and the honesty. Just ordered the softail exhaust today. Can't wait for that to get here
This is a huge deal, guys! As someone who has a lot of experience with Harley-Davidson carbon fiber parts (as many of you might know), those Blockhead carbon fiber parts look like the highest quality I’ve seen in the industry yet. Kudos! 👊🏼🤘🏼
The expression "Bob's your uncle" is thought to have originated in 1887 when British Prime Minister Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, also known as "Bob", appointed his nephew Arthur Balfour as the Irish Secretary. The appointment was seen as nepotistic and unpopular.
The phrase is used to indicate that something is easy to do or that everything is taken care of. For example, "Just fill in the page, and Bob's your uncle". It's often used after a set of simple instructions and is similar to saying "... and it's as simple as that!
Hey guys.......Aussie Ev from Oz here... and Chris is totally on the money with his "Bob's your uncle!" saying LOL . And the bike looks amazing guys with the new carbon fibre parts! I reckon you have saved possibly 20-25 lbs changing them out! Can't wait to see the final build! Keep up the great work guys!
Definitely looking forward to seeing if y’all do carbon for us 2014-2023 Touring guys! Hopefully so as I’d really like to get behind rocking your brand in parts on my bike 🤙🏼 my guess in weight savings would have to be 13 pounds🤷🏽♂️
Congrats Blockhead! Looks like real high quality carbon fiber and big kudos for perfect fitment! Any chance of expanding to other motorcycles like say a Ducati Panigale?🤔😁
Absolutely love cf …. Saving my jak for parts….looks great and quality is most important. For my cvo I would really like a wrap front fender . Any chances y’all will be making that style? Love y’all and your videos thanx again…. Ken
29 lbs Edit: Oops I was off on the weight loss but maybe once the bag bottoms and the sides are created, 29 lbs weight loss will be spot on. Also, because of your excellent explanation on the parts replacement, I subscribed.
You actually only need to remove the bottom bolt and can leave the top bolt when it comes to the air thing you put on top of the air filter. The fairing will come off with just the bottom one removed
This is the type of carbon that should have been in the CVO ST. the carbon that is on the CVO ST looks dirty in my opinion. I have a suggestion that you team up with a light manufacturer to change out the tail lights and the tag mount to make it more streamlined. Also, when paired with a different light do not include the holes in the side of the fender for the bracket with the three bolts.
I have a 2021 Street Bob…..if you start making carbon part for it. Happy to let you use the bike to help make parts for it! Just sayin! lol. Super rad love the detail to quality!
Looks sweet, price is 😱 I hope they are aerospace quality for those prices (sound like they are). Is the front fairing one piece or two, sounds like two (was there a reason)? Are you using the same method as aerospace panels? Are you planning on offer a package deal (tank?)? Weight loss is sweet😎👍 Can’t wait to see the rest of the panels.
Great video of the new items. Can’t wait to see the finish result on this RG. The question I have is when are we gonna see Goldzilla with all new carbon parts and see the weight and ride difference on a softail 🇺🇸
You only have to remove 1 of the bolts, if I remember it’s the top 1 from the side vent to remove the fairing that way it stays in place … 45lbs savings
5:29 I have a Bell Eliminator Carbon that has a couple tiny chips in the super-thin "carbon" skin that, clearly, has fiberglass underneath. Even with my employee discount when I ordered it, I was VERY upset to see how thin the carbon is.
I was going to ask if you would be doing a Street Glide fairing but then realized that to lose 15 pounds for what I am guessing is about $10,000 makes it a big nope.

Def saving 67 pounds. Thrashins carbon fiber ST cut 140 but did a lot more carbon parts
That choir of angels while unveiling the parts was hysterical! Also Chris's antics are priceless! Best of luck on the launch!

This is exactly what I didn’t know I needed, I’m going to start saving up right now for my 2015 road glide
48lbs. Lighter
@@user-ks9ts5on4c Too bad it was only less than 15.
Anchor Man reference 👌🏼
That looks amazing!!!! Also for the weight loss guess I'm going with the ol trusty $1.00 bob
Congratulations!!! I’m excited to see the rest of the transformation to carbon fiber. This has become high on my want list !!!
Hopeful for 24' Street Glide front fairings.
Stuff looks legit 💯
I wanna lighten up my 21 road glide too. I also want handle bars, floor boards, air filter, tuning, and lots more odds n ends. Basically it's stock 😅
Sounds like you need to make an appointment with blockhead garage and get started with some performance mods until molds are made for other models.
Finally. Been waiting not so patiently for a buildoff episode

15 pound weight loss is no joke! Hope you guys decide to do pre 24 batwings and tour packs in the future! Super awesome product!
Thanks Anthony! And more weight savings on the way when we finish bags, side covers and inner fairing 🤘🏼
15lbs nice. Curious how much bags will drop.
This is so FN Dope! Would i be able to order a front fender carbon fiber for a 2012 RGlide?
epic weight saving for sure and top edging loving seeing the welsh flag there must have missed it before
That is so sick! Will you be making anything for two cams? I want fxr style carbon side panels for my roadking
Looks like those stock bits are a lot lighter than I had assumed
But it does look sick.
Super nice products. Cheap ain’t good and good ain’t cheap. 6K 😱for 15 lbs.

How hard will those lids be to cut speakers into them. All that carbon looks fantastic

30:49 That would be sexy as hell if it was a Street Glide! I dig the black and white look.
That carbon looks CLEAN AF! If I had a 24 Road Glide I'd definitely be ordering some, but I don't :(
Very common saying down here in Australia
Nice. Will older skins be available? I have a 07 egc. Those skins would be a major facelift.
lol thought your hat was a victory hat
Coo build plug a play super easy job

Fancy, but expensive pieces... I'm a little hung up on the black and white clash.. But apparently the project is not over with😅
Yall love to talk down in Florida I forgot you was building a bike lol and never really got to see the finished product
Do the Lowrider ST next!!
You only have to remove 1 of the bolts, if I remember it’s the top 1 from the side vent to remove the fairing that way it stays in place … 45lbs savings
If you’re hoping for better fitment , you’ll need to bring whatever In house. Ask Rusty D&D.
Make a batwing for 21 street glide, had competitors and it fit horribly, sent it back
