Many used to come over for product inspection and other business dealings, and my task was to show them around Mumbai (around 2015 onwards). I have interacted so much with them that I can differentiate between Pakistani Punjabi and Indian Punjabi.

One thing which is specific about Sikhs that they have very deep connections with their birth place.. I have seen many sikh families visiting Pakistan where there ancestors once lived .
I belong to Rawalpindi and an elderly man was talking about
    a place " Chitti Hatiyaan " .
I want to say that the place still exists with same name and is very hustling bustling place around very famous Raja Bazar , adjoining Muree Road to one side and linked to other side with Sadar via Gawalmandi and city Sadar Road . Baba jee must have the idea .....

It's actually the legacy city of the Indus Valley Civilization (IVC)...reflected in many aspects of the architecture and plan of the urban spread.
