I appreciate that - thankyou. It is super awesome to be trusted with all these awesome boats so just happy to be able to bring these videos to you guys
A stunning boat at a shocking price. The as-tested price equates to about $949,000 USD. The price of an average home in the US is about $435,000 (depending on your information source). Still, if I needed such a boat and had that $949k available and liquid, I would happily spend it on this beauty.
OMG what is going on in Australia? Average house price here in Sydney is $829,000 USD and that would be a very small average house on the outskirts of the city that probably needs a reno. Maybe we should all start living on boats! haha
Great question - I don't know is the honest answer but Scotty my mate who helped me with some of the filming is an Ex-Professional Wakeboarder so we plan to film some wake boats in Europe. I believe a lot of the super yachts are buying them as toys.
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife That's awesome haha. I was just curious since we just got one in the US, very common on lakes here. But didn't know if the water was too rough in the Mediterranean
CC is going over the top with some of their hull finishes, just as Dan was describing with this blue'ish metallic, sheen-laden hull. Here's another example: cream gelcoat cockpit of the CC 27 with a rich metallic champagne hull. th-cam.com/video/IMtp7pFyA74/w-d-xo.html While not a fan of stern drives, I admit it almost seems criminal not to use it here.
Shall we just stop a moment, this boat as tested is heading for a $1million, you'd have to be insane or of course have more money than sense to buy one at that price, pretty or not, it's still a fiberglass boat.
Yep and prices just keep going up from what I am seeing. But 1 Million just buys you a 1 bed apartment in Sydney these days so maybe it's all relative..?
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife yes, viewed from water level it harkens back to classic wooden, mahogany boats. The blue hull and that top whiteline accentuates the look. If you remove the hard top, that's a look, like Riva or classic Chriscraft you would see on Canadian Lakes.
Classic blue hull with this red stripe and cream upholstery. I am in Love!!! ❤️
Glad you like it!
Sweet boat
Best video review of the Chris Craft 35GT! You did an excellent job. Thank You!

Incredible Boat!
Dan, Chris Craft has always been quality. But I thought you were going to show us the engine compartment.
Hi John, I was but we ran out of time as I had a flight to Dubai I had to catch.
Beautiful!
Great review. Well done.
700 grand for a normal day boat .. Were in insane territory
Inflation i'm afraid
Very old fashioned. Looking for that I would go with Riva or Boesch. I myself prefer the modern looks of Frauscher.
Check out some of my Frauscher videos already on the channel if that's your style. I have a new Frauscher X Porsche video coming soon

I would want 2 ---300 or 400 outboards not the I/O .
Are wakeboats common at all in the Mediterranean? If so, what kinds

How tall is Dan? Really deep sofas. Looks like a boat that works great for tall people.
Aha. 5 7.
Lol I was thinking the same thing, looks like the captain chair was made for giants
5'7... I make boats look huge :) lol
But those seats are pretty big and heaps of room under that T-top

Holy crap, guess you are paying for quality?

Nice but nothing new. This is just a copy of SeaRay's very successful SLX series. So classic? Biat sells for $700k in the US.
Fair comparison to the SLX but do you think this has more of a modern classic vibe...?

Seats look uncomfortably high and too large. Who wants their feet dangling like a child? Big stupid rich person boat definitely not a classic.
They can't please everyone I guess. Take a look at the Frauscher for something different
