Greetings from Bergvliet, Cape Town. These kombis are the best and the sound of the Audi 5 cylinder engine is so epic! My mom used to drive one from 2002 to 2004 when we upgraded to our current kombi, a Caravelle T4 2.5tdi. Our Microbus had the 2.3l Audi 5 cylinder engine which sounded exactly like this since both the 2.3l and 2.6l engines are exactly the same, the 2.3l is just smaller.
@@carsstanceclass I also like the fact that the owner of the kombi has kept the engine and exhaust as standard in terms of sound. I've also noticed towards the end of the video that there is a slight ticking sound coming from one of the cylinders when he reved the engine and pulled away after dropping you off at your house so I suspect the exhaust manafold is possibly blowing slightly
Please don't convert this car...it's best with standard engine....been driving mine for 9 years and I only did my engine once... I know this car in and out...2.3 and 2.6 silver-rail and blackrail
