Gilles did you have a final verdict on its performance at the high end of HF? You had mentioned that many Tecsuns were more wobbly up there, on SSB I believe.
My D-808 broke... Pulled up the antenna and swiveled it... Snap... Broke where the screw holds the antenna to the board... So yes, i want a new radio for christmas!!

Yes this is also slightly wobbly but it is better than other Tecsun receivers

Good choice for a non-ham that wants to listen to SW, Hams, utility stations, etc. it seems to me the next step past this is an actual HF transceiver.
