I set up his home with trip lines in the living room which really used except for myself in order to get to my bedroom. In the kitchen which was close to the front door and it was small and less than 20 feel from the side door. Underneath the kitchen table I set up a recorder. It was wired up for sound AND motion...that means every time someone came in? It started recording sound from either door. I also had set up other things in the yard that were directly lined up with the pathway to my outside windows. IF he tried to open the window then he'd get his hands blown off. I had them set up with plastiques. You DO have the right to record within your own residence even if you're renting and you do have the right to set up deterrents towards intruders ok? Look up what is known as the Spring Gun Case ok? You're even allowed to set up deterrents towards intruders in a building or structure that you own but IS NOT being occupied. The ONLY restrictions on that is it has to be set up in a way that it can't possibly kill someone but will just disable them. I studied this case AS it is taught in every single college in this country...this country meaning the US ok? WE as Paralegals have to hold ourselves to the sand ETHICAL rules as members of the American Bad Association ok? Yeah the same as attorneys when it comes to the law. I studied this case in my first semester when I went back to college as an older student in MY late 40's. MY plan a was to become a paralegal and then go on to become an attorney by going through John Jay college. BUT that derailed because I became disabled and was no longer able to go to college. I would also recommend changing the locks for newly purchased homes, too. The realtors and everyone they worked with could have copied the keys. One company I used to work with required the realtors to take a photograph of the keys as confirmation of something; It's possible to recreate keys from photographs.

I wonder if the lady’s nightmare was triggered by the imminent danger that she was in and that she had indeed awoken somehow with her mind sensing the danger and by hearing the intruder making unfamiliar sounds around her home probably as the crazy lady intruder was searching through the victim’s home for a weapon to attack her, but when her subconscious kicked in by sensing this danger along with the unknown and unfamiliar sounds she had detected in her apartment whilst asleep that her mind created or triggered her to have a nightmare to wake her up to the very serious danger the homeowner was in. Her nightmare had definitely saved her life and her bravery and coolness under pressure kept her alive. I hope the creeper was hurt and got scalded pretty badly causing her some serious pain. But alas it all ended well, not for the intruder of course; she was burnt, arrested and on her way to jail too. What a degenerate fiend of a person that creep of a woman. Does anyone know what the outcome of this story or what happened to the creeper after this incident, did she get prison time, taken for psychiatric evaluation or treatment? Bearing in mind that is if this story is infact true in the first place.
This is just like that one Mr. Nightmare story, the protagonist awakes immediately after his family told him someone is in the house and told him to wake up. Sure enough, someone was in the house, but fleed as soon as they realizes they were spotted. I'm not sure what nightmare she had here tho

From someone who turned apartments for a living, your locks should be changed by management before you even move in. Most locks nowadays are smart locks and can be rekeyed instead of changing the entire lock. I do recommend getting a anti door kick bar if you live in an apartment(ensures nobody can boot your door open). Also 3 inch screws(which anchor through the frame) are a good idea on your latch and hotel security lock(if you have one). This will not make your door breach proof if the fire department needs to get in(they have tools for that now)

Ive seen it dozens of times, someones with kids who live on the 3rd floor either leaves a sink or the tub on, or a toilet backs up. Everyone who lives below them will have water damage. Ive also seen the fire sprinklers be tripped and that is soo much water, theres an emergency shut off for maintenance or the fire department on the outside for after confirming theres no fire. Those are the worst because those sprinkers hold something like 50k gallons of water.As far as someone stealing that works there, i would suggest a camera hidden. I know it happens, where i worked they caught a few people over the years and they were terminated immediately. It was always stupid sh** they were stealing to, i didnt really understand it.

Being someone that worked for a commercial door company. You should also put longer srew's in your hinges and lock, so you screw into a beam not just the frame. Normal screws used for that are not really long. So they will tear out easily.

the intruder making unfamiliar sounds around her home probably as the crazy lady intruder was searching through the victim’s home for a weapon to attack her, but when her subconscious kicked in by sensing this danger along with the unknown and unfamiliar sounds she had detected in her apartment whilst asleep that her mind created or triggered her to have a nightmare to wake her up to the very serious danger the homeowner was in.
Her nightmare had definitely saved her life and her bravery and coolness under pressure kept her alive.
I hope the creeper was hurt and got scalded pretty badly causing her some serious pain.
But alas it all ended well, not for the intruder of course; she was burnt, arrested and on her way to jail too.

This is just like that one Mr. Nightmare story, the protagonist awakes immediately after his family told him someone is in the house and told him to wake up. Sure enough, someone was in the house, but fleed as soon as they realizes they were spotted.

From someone who turned apartments for a living, your locks should be changed by management before you even move in. Most locks nowadays are smart locks and can be rekeyed instead of changing the entire lock. I do recommend getting a anti door kick bar if you live in an apartment(ensures nobody can boot your door open). Also 3 inch screws(which anchor through the frame) are a good idea on your latch and hotel security lock(if you have one). This will not make your door breach proof if the fire department needs to get in(they have tools for that now)

@@breezyakanan9727 Management has to have keys to your apartment, incase there is an emergency and your not there. Ive seen it dozens of times, someones with kids who live on the 3rd floor either leaves a sink or the tub on, or a toilet backs up. Everyone who lives below them will have water damage. Ive also seen the fire sprinklers be tripped and that is soo much water, theres an emergency shut off for maintenance or the fire department on the outside for after confirming theres no fire. Those are the worst because those sprinkers hold something like 50k gallons of water.As far as someone stealing that works there, i would suggest a camera hidden. I know it happens, where i worked they caught a few people over the years and they were terminated immediately. It was always stupid sh** they were stealing to, i didnt really understand it.
