When I was a baby my uncle who had passed away when I was very little, often stayed around my crib to watch over me. I would talk to other ghosts/spirits, but all of them were peaceful and kind. So, to clarify for the dog story: There are Native American spirits like the Wendigo and Skinwalkers, who can morph into animals I believe [I'm not Native American, nor do I know too well of what they are] so that could explain why they were freaked out.

My sister used to say she saw a doll in the corner of the room by an old lamp we got at a yard sale. Nothing was by it to cast a shadow. She wasn't scared at all. I convinced our mom to get rid of it. The doll disappeared after that.
For those who are confused for the one with the dog let me explain: she/he wasn't overreacting, the dog that the person got was still a puppy that was only like six months old I think so the dog doesn't know any tricks yet. Hope this helps

I have a story so my mom was asleep. I was with her in her room. It was like three in the morning. I heard banging like our house was getting robbed like there was banging and like I was freaked out I was crying cuddling mom she did not open her eyes like I heard chairs moving and I was so freaking terrified. I couldn't shake the feeling that the book had some connection to the shadow, but I was too scared to open it and find out. From that night on, I made sure to keep my bedroom door locked tight.

i absolutely cannot be on the bottom floor, especially at night. during the day its okay if someone is with me but i cant be down there at night even with the blinds closed. there are lots of windows and a door and i always get the feeling that someone is watching me. there's also a closet with like those doors that have the blinds but its wooden and one of them is bent down like if you were looking out of the blinds through a window. its just so creepy i cant stand being down there
My mom told me a story of what happend when I was younger, bc I kept seeing this girl in my sleep, and my mom told me when i was younger she heard me talking to someone in my room, ( I was 3) my mom called me over, and a shadow with black white eyes walked over and then i walked right after, then one night my mom woke up and 3:00 at night, she woke up to check on me and she saw me sitting on my bed eyes open talking to a wall! In a different language, I still see that girl, she told me that she is called Elizabeth, that was the name of my friend when I was a baby, my mom and her bff both had children and me and her were besties. But she died in her sleep, idk how, but yeah - I'm just trying not to make her mad but it's kinda freaky, but she's kind, plus I don't have. Much friends and I'm kinda glad to have her..

I have a story so my mom was asleep. I was with her in her room. It was like three in the morning. I heard banging like our house was getting robbed like there was banging and like I was freaked out I was crying cuddling mom she did not open her eyes like I heard chairs moving and I was so freaking terrified. It’s finally stopped at about six in the morning, and then I finally went to sleep and then I woke up and nothing was moved like nothing at all. Everything was the same as it was last night, and my brother was in bed. He had no friends over anything.

I was in my office making a picture when suddenly I heard someone knocking on my door I looked in the window that’s next to my front door no one was there I checked the back door no one was there finally I went to bed I heard people in my living room screaming for help so I walked in my living room and no one was there but I saw a shadow walking next to my window in the living room I didn’t know who it was

The shadow figure on the wall is commonly called a “skinwalker” skinwalkers are known for changing to many diffrent forms such as a shadow, animal, human or even a object. This isn’t common this is actually terrifying
Oh! And I forgot to add that no one actually knows what skinwalkers look like, usually there in the form of an animal. What’s weird is that they usually will be horses there’s been a few sightings of this
