Got a good one for you they set mine up got everything running but after they had left I some how accidentally calibrated my bale size well I rolled 250 bales thought they looked big but I never got out of the cab got to the last bale and turned next to another belt and realized it looked way to big I rolled 67 to 69 inch bales with a 5 ft roller so now I try and check things a little more because when Vermeer left it was ready to go but I somehow managed to change it but kind of like the bigger rolls have more tons in the barn in the same amount of space
@@tedkahler9738 You can buy an additional belt guide that mounts on the front of the baler which helps (darn near eliminates) belts turning over. Just like the one on the back...should be standard in my opinion. Randy
i thought that was a great idea having them help you learn the baler. ive always bought used stuff and it was not fun figuring it out some times. noticed how shinny it is. seen your reflection.

When I first got my baler (used), I couldn't figure out just what the heck that lever and pin did. Until I got the book on it.lol Have you ever had to recharge the hydraulic tension system on any of your new holland balers? They want you to buy or borrow a special hose to do that, I made my own and changed the coupler to a standard hydraulic end.
Any idea on how to get the netwrap tube off easier. I need a pry bar to remove the tube. The teeth won’t let go of it. The net has been stored inside. It takes a hard shove to get it in place. Maybe thats where the trouble starts. Vermeer netwrap
Great video. Have you had any problems with your duckbill not wanting to return its home position/cut the netwrap on it? We have 2 of these identical to yours and both have given that problem. Thanks!
Have you had any issues with the net wrap not covering the full width of the bale. I have a 450 and can’t seem to be consistent on my net wrap edge covering. Not sure if it driver error on lopsided bales, or maybe an adjustment. Seems like every other bale has 4 or 5 inches exposed.
Nice video Ted! We got a 664 a couple of years ago and my, my what a VAST improvement over the old Vermeer 650F that required my head turned backwards as much as forward. Our NH came without the 'net wrap insertion tool' and I'd rather make one instead of buy it. I just wish I knew how thick it's supposed to be.
Hello! Looking to fix a NH2019 450 net cutting quick as possible. Rain this afternoon so hopped on to bale and the baler isn’t cutting the wrap. Any thoughts? Being a Sunday we are very limited in finding a fix!

Randy Wrinkle I just repeated something he said to me in a comment a week ago and I simply said I agreee if he has no one to hand to over to why expand and spend money on equipment when what he had was working for him.

Ted Kahler there was a learning curve on our 790 we twisted some belts which wasn’t pretty

It is pretty shiny... Yea only one person gave me crap and this is why i let the pros help me

I have never had to charge them but i had to let some oil out one time because the cylinders were overfilled

So do the belts continuously turn when you kick a bale out if they stay tight?
there is a clutch that disengages the belts when the door opens on this model
My br 740A net will auto extend and wrap but won't auto retract. I have to manually retract every bale
Good chance the sensor needs callebrated. Check out book for instructions
I had to use the belt tension release mechanism yesterday, fist time I have ever had a belt twist on my NH648 baler
ya dont use that very often but when you need it your glad its there
