BIG difference! That light is WAY better then the old one. I'll remember that company. One more thing: Best Headlight, I'll support you for supporting my pal Mike !
I just bought the same brand, but a different LED model. I’m replacing it because of the increased brightness compared to the current one that I run. I agree! HD should come with LED all around.
I’m always interested in these Amazon headlights. It looks nice, I just want to see how long it holds up. While I don’t plan on getting rid of my sport bike, I am looking to add either a superglide or wideglide to my garage. Lights like this are better than factory and reasonably priced, as long as they hold up.
April has a year or more on hers now and it made it thru her accident so I am not to skeptical but you never know. I put another 180 miles on it today,
First upgrade most the time is a better headlight. Amazed at how bad the lighting is on a new bike, especially the ones 20k and up.. cut costs where ever they can I guess
It’s so bright you needed sunglasses by the end lol. Awesome man, I’m gonna check out that brand and see if they make something for the ole vrod. It’s still using yellow halogen bulbs
Great video bud! Thank you!. I just installed the same light on my 2014 Street Glide Special. I used the Y harness as well but my low beam is not working. Not sure if it is a problem with my switch or what? Can you offer some help/advice? Thank you in advance.
I would run a voltmeter on the harness to make sure your getting power on the low beam side. If anyone else you know uses a 7 in bulb you could test it in there bike, did your low beam work before changing bulbs?
Trying to install headlight on my 99 fatboy but having trouble fitting it unless I grind on one of the 3 slots to get it in, and putting on the rear signal lights got them new,but my brother in law cut the wires so I don't know what to do now
@@RidingintheOzarks I pulled the codes and they are all light codes. I replaced all of the bulbs with 1156,1157, fog LED, and headlight LED. There shouldnt be a canbus issue.
@@AICD1999 I guess you could put the stock back in and see if it stops throwing the code. Nobody else has mentioned an issue like this. Hopefully it’s not a 2022 model year issue.
Great looking light and I like the halo and that its black versus the chrome. My headlight has a halo as well and looks awesome. Great install and comparison in visibility💪🤘
I bought this same light for my 05 Electra Glide, and it interfered with my stereo. I don't know if that was because the bike didn't come with LED's, like all other Harley's from that time, but it created a loud buzz through the radio. I even tried a EMI filter but still had the interference. I have a 2017 now that has LED headlight but it could stand to be brighter! Was wondering if you noticed this on your bike?
@@RidingintheOzarks That's great man!! I'm gonna give these another shot on my Ultra. I just can't spend 5 to 6 hundred bucks for a dang headlight!! Appreciate that reply Brother!!
Great video... Quick question i have a 15 sg and the previous owner changed to led bulbs. It messed up the radio reception... Any issues with these causing interference?
Honestly I haven’t noticed any but I put a shorty antenna on, I know I can still get radio signal 30-40 miles away with my shorty but it wasn’t good for more than that before. I mostly listen to music downloaded on an iPod.
What about installing on a 2016 Sportster that has halogen and can code out when installing LED? Does it have the electronics to compensate for different amps so it doesn’t code out?
Been thinking of the same upgrade and had a question. I ride a 16 SGS and was thinking of putting driving lights on the front. What did you use on yours?
Gotcha. I didn't look close enough at the light. Guess my attention was on that unbelievably beautiful paint job. Since I started looking at upgrades to my factory headlight I noticed all the companies that offered the 7in LED also offered ones with the two driving lights. Most likely for the cruisers that already have them I had them on my old 02 Road King and loved them.
I had same thing but I had already upgraded to an led before and had to pull the stock connector pigtail off my old stock light. We’re you running stock light or led before?
I didn't have to because I was able to use my existing bracket and upon testing it was good, if you change brackets you will probably need to adjust it from my experience. There are adjustments for vertical and horizontal alignment and several articles on the internet explaining the best method to adjust it to get it close then ride it and adjust it if you feel it is needed still.
It Should, the headlight HD sells on their sight says is it fits '09-later Touring and Trike models (except Road Glide). If pick 2022 Street Glide then 16 it fits both so this tells me they have not made any significant changes...
I understand but many of the P&A stuff at dealership is made in China or overseas. I think JW Speaker lights are one of the few made in the USA, it was one of the reasons I originally bought one.
@@RidingintheOzarks Right on, just amazes my that so many harley riders buy overpriced harley products from dealers made overseas. Just to have the logo. Just got my jw speaker headlight today. Sadly most people don't care where things are made.
What do you think of theis LED Headlight? Would you consider upgrading?
I will be putting mine in this weekend
I’ve been looking for a headlight for a couple weeks now you sold me, dude I’m on my way to Amazon

Just fitted this headlight. I kept my Harley backing plate, so it was only 3 philips screws and done. Didn't have to reline the light.
Hope you like it!

Yeah I think led should standard on all motorcycles at this point
I like the black look, and what a difference in the lighting, it's definitely a lot brighter, good job brother 💯👊🏼😎
The Wisamic halo LED on my Night Train cost me $55 on Amazon. It's as bright as the factory LED on my Pro Street Breakout.
If you have an older Glide, like my 2011, the light plugs right in. No adapter needed.
Really good upgrade. I liked the chromed back, but for having that lumen increase, I like the black back now. ;)
I just installed the same light in my 2018 SGS. Works great
Finally good to see someone covering the fender. Thanks for the video.
