      Gesture, meteorite, artifact of chaos. Now that I saw it. Less than 6 gestures but mainly just want constant up tim on like 2. Just for some danger. Any character except artificer. So you can just hover off the ground like a coward. Besides that just normal looting and such

    To fix bands, but still keep them in the idea of the void items being a tradeoff compared to their regular counterparts, I wouldn’t buff the damage outright. Making the range scale is a good idea, but I think the one change that could really make them winners is making the explosion at the end deal 100% damage PER ENEMY in the area. 1 beetle means just 100% damage, but four beetles and a lemurian means 500% to all five enemies. That way, while the regular bands are monsters for single target damage, void bands are great for crowd control, and it makes them more of a skill item than just a buffing item like the regular bands.

      You could also make the bands do the damage over time, almost like a crushing force. Tbh at first that's how I thought they worked.

    It would be a legitimate choice I think if vands grew in radius but had the damage trade-off, at least they would have a few use-case scenarios, sorta like vrit.

    Was really unexpected but definitely nice to hear Ace Combat, I had to wait for a few seconds to make sure though initially. Love the Vand's aesthetic, this change would be really nice to see come to the game itself.

    one idea I had for vand is that damage straight up doesnt scale, but the cooldown does, so you can use it every 20/x seconds where X is stack.

    Amazing to have Vands look/feels so chunky! I am super confused however at the Strike drones that spawn in as you used your equipment at 19:09

    Would it be possible to do something like "Every Item has an 80% chance to be a (next item)" so we could see some crazy synergies/ proc chains.
    Or maybe even "Every Item is an On-Kill item".

      The Prok chain run is nice but QUICKLY runs your graphics card for your money... massive amounts of ATGs, MERFs(and CHERFs, Meat Hooks, and Ukes going off constantly fills the screen fast.

    The fact singularity band only does 100p damage and its +100p stack for a GREEN item is horrendus, why cant they make it 300p like the other bands atleast

    If vands was buffed id still want it to be more in line with the actual void area in the game. A void reaver explosion would be cool but probably too strong so maybe it could be the damage you take in the void areas. Maybe in the second half of its duration it converts into whatever the void damage is in the Planetarium.

    I know this is an older video, but I was sad you didn't seem to know about the blast shower tech, where you can multiply the damage of vands by using blast shower to allow vand to proc the next vand

    Vands were supposed to be a mix of kjaro's burst and runald's aoe. By drawing in it brings smaller units in range and then the explosion finishes it off. Damage scales different because it's one item instead of two, and the cooldown is higher to balance the added utility of a pocket primordial cube. I mean, the bubble lasts for 5 seconds so there should still be just 10 seconds of cooldown right? Unfortunatly not.
    Honestly I think it fell flat with the massive delay before payoff. If it did the damage to the same area the moment it goes off and then pulled enemies in like meat hook insteaf of leaving a massive bubble it would be much better. And then you have the 15 second cooldown which makes it worse since the only way to shorten that is with blast shower. And it's not ten seconds between uptime, its 15 seconds where you can't move it where you need it.

    I understand the thought process behind the balance of void band. You give up damage for AOE and crowd control. Honestly, not that bad of a trade... if bands weren't the most sought after item in the game. In a world where void items tend to be the upgraded version, not being better than either band is a detriment.
    I do like void bands though. Crowd control will always feel nice.
    I almost think they could buff void band just by adjusting the damage. If we're going straight upgrades, at least more than the ice band.
    But a more interesting approach I think would be to adjust void items in general. Not all of them, of course, but many do feel like straight upgrades and there's no point to even having the originals. On most survivors it's better to have the void item than the original, except bands and the boss item one.

      It's less void bands are bad and more that they are considerably worse than regular bands. 1 gas is all the aoe you need and one void bands is 6 times less damage than a Runald's band

    My idea for buffing vand is making the damage 200% (+200% per stack) and +3 meters per stack. That's double the current damage but still lower than Runald and Kjaro which are 250% and a 300% total DoT respectively. Not a huge range buff but since it corrupts two items it's theoretically easier to stack than other green void items. If you get the aqueduct bands and then get a vand that right there is 40% more than the current range since you'll have 3 of them for 15+3+3=21m. Still comes out to much less damage at all times, especially because of the 20 second cooldown, but can easily hit far more enemies than the others with its high range, allows great use of aoe stuff like gas, uke, behemoth, etc, and provides safety by keeping enemies away from you with the pull. A tradeoff of pure damage for aoe and some survivability

      I think 15s for the cooldown would also make the item feel a little better. It's not quite as often as the regular bands but it means the cooldown is 10s from when the bubble pops (and deals damage) which I think is when it most feels like it has proc'd even if that's not the case. You'd proc them, 5 seconds pass, it pops, 10 seconds pass, you proc again.
      I've got mine set to 275% [+275%] TOTAL damage, 10m [+3] radius, and 12 [+6] pull-force on a 10s cooldown and it feels really powerful with high stacks-- 16 of them (band printer stage 4) let me kill Mithrix as Void Fiend in maybe 6 secondary attacks per phase without really much else in damage, maybe an AtG and a crowbar or two, tops (was a tough slog of a run). I've been thinking of nerfing them slightly, make the cooldown 15s since it really feels like I've got it present 50% of the time (which I do, if it takes 5 seconds to pop and then 5 more seconds to proc again). I settled on 275% damage to put it half-way between Runald's and Kjaro's but considering it has crowd control (succ), a bigger/scaling radius, and a proc coefficient of 1.0 (where the other bands are 0.0), I think I might knock the damage down a smidge too. Maybe 225% and see how that goes. I can't with the current mod I use, but I'd love to be able to configure the proc condition. 400% is fine and matches the other bands, but what if it was just chance based (while still retaining the cooldown)? What if the 400% damage trigger was 600% instead, or 800%? The idea being that it's designed to only proc off the damage that the heavier hitters can achieve (without some other component of a proc chain being stacked alongside it).

    I think that flamethrower is great! If u combine it with Plasma Shrimp, Polylute and Focus Crystal it does great dps, sad that it requires items to be good tho.

      Flamethrower bringing you to a walk and the small range is where it falls off. Especially in Eclipse 8. It's fine if you like it, but to play E8 you need your mobility
